To Add YouTube Video to Your Presentation: 1. Open PowerPoint 2. Select the Office Button – PowerPoint Options 3. Add a check mark to “Show Developer tab in the Ribbon” and select OK 4. Add a new Blank slide 5. Click on the Developer tab and Select the More Controls icon 6. Under More Controls, select “Shockwave Flash Object” 7. Draw a box on the new blank slide. This will be the area in which your video will play. Be sure not to take up the entire slide. Taking up the entire slide with the video will cause the next slide not to run. 8. Right click on the box and select Properties 9. Go to YouTube (or movie site) and select the URL for the movie 10. In the Movie property box, paste the copied URL

To Add YouTube Video to Your Presentation:

1. Open PowerPoint

11. In the URL, you will remove “watch?” and you will replace all “=” with “/”

12. Exit out of the dialog box

13. Play your slideshow
