How to Apply APEL?
What is APEL?
• APEL is Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning. It is defined as a systematic process involving the identification, documentation and evaluation of learning based on previous experience.
• The APEL process generally involves the evaluation of experience-based learning that can be obtained through various methods including formal schooling, life and work experience, training, independent study, voluntary work, hobbies and the like.
• The whole assessment procedure may take 2 to 4 months

Requirements
1) Program in Diploma Level, Level 4 or 5 MQF
• Malaysia Citizen
• Must be 20 years old and above
• Have relevant education or working experience
MQF = Malaysian Qualifications Framework

2) Program in Degree Level, Level 6 MQF
• Malaysia Citizen
• Must be 21 years old and above
• Have relevant education or working experience
MQF = Malaysian Qualifications Framework

3) Program in Master Degree Level, Level 7 MQF
• Malaysia Citizen
• Must be 30 years old and above
• Have an education certificate (STPM/Diploma/Other relevant certificate)
• Have more than 5 years of working experience

1) Fill in the Application Form/ Portfolio Assessment.
a) Download the APEL http://www.mqa.gov.my/apel/pdf/handbook.pdf
b) Print out Page 11 - 20

2) Application is payable via bank draft to "AgensiKelayakan Malaysia"
