How To Become a Successful Composer, Arranger, Orchestrator and/or Copyist 1. Find who YOU are inside first. 2. Find your VOICE, the VOICE comes what inside of you, not what's on the chart or sheet. 3. Study as many composers and conductors as you can. 4. Big recommendation is listen to all types of music as you can or find what various genres of music best suits you. 5. The real key is to find someone who'll lead you on the way in order to become great at the one thing you desire within your mind and soul. For example, it maybe a friend, mentor or coach who can teach you all the basics privately. 6. Always have a mentor or coach to teach you. 7. Before beginning either in composing or arranging, you must be already trained in playing an instrument, know how to read and play music well. If not already learned one, for starters try piano. For piano it's easier when you begin coming up with something quicker you had in mind whether its notes, chords, or something. You always have manuscript paper and pen in front of you too.

8. Doesn't matter what age you begin, age ain't nothing but a number. YOU and your MINDSET has to come inside if you want it.

9. Study several of the books you need to get started dealing on orchestration, composition, notation, music theory and copying. Plus also have manuscript sheet music, a pen, a notepad or paper handy. Once you finished writing down some things you had on manuscript paper plus your notes, you begin the process of copying and notating them based with what music notation software you use (e.g. Sibelius, Finale, Seventh String, etc.)

10. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE always take an effort.
