How to Carve a Pumpkin

We divided into our 3 groups and estimated how many seeds were inside

of our pumpkins

Oval Group Diamond GroupTriangle Group

Then we cut off the tops and scooped out the seeds

We used what we know about tens to count the seeds

We counted how many groups of

ten and how many ones.

Then, we carved our pumpkin and gave him a face!
