How To Connect Your iPad to School Wi-Fi

Find the “Settings” Application

Make sure “Wi-Fi” is selected

Select “detnsw” (touch the writing)

If “detnsw” does not appear, you need to move closer to a Wi-Fi point

Allow the iPad to connect to the

network Once this page appears, click

accept

If this page does not appear, go back to step 3 and check your

user name and password

When this page appears, click the blue “i” button

Username = first.last7@DETNSW

(the same as your school email @

DETNSW in capitals)

Password = Same password as your school email

Click Join

Server = proxy.det.nsw.edu.au

Port = 8080

Authentication = on (green)

Leave username and password blank

When you have finished all 6 steps, go

to Google Chrome. You will be asked to enter your username (first.last7) without

@DETNSW and password
