There are six different modes and 102 characters to pick from to protect the team’s Ancient while getting rid of the opposing side’s Ancient. Your hero’s method of fighting depends on the hero’s strength, intelligence, or agility. To win the game, you have to overcome your enemies’ many forces and destroy their Ancient.

The enemies’ strongholds and towers can be destroyed easily, and to advance down the enemy’s lane, you have to get rid of these structures. To help your hero level up and get more skills and access, destroy as many towers, creeps, and the opposing heroes as you can.

Dota 2 isn’t too different from Dota, so you won’t be scratching your head the whole time. The looks of most of the heroes have changed from the old Dota, and you could end up getting the wrong one. Another new thing is the buttons pushed to use the hero’s skills—you don’t have to push certain letters anymore.
