Embedding a LibGuide on your Blackboard page

To embed a LibGuide onto your Blackboard page, click on the Add button above your course content areas and select Create External Link.

Each LibGuide has a unique URL: your librarian will provide it for you, or you can cut and paste it from the top of the LibGuide page.

Give the new content area a name that is specific to that guide–“Research Paper Guide” or “Library Catalog Tutorial,” for example. Paste the URL for the LibGuide. Make sure to select the Available to Users checkbox. Finally, hit Submit. Now you have a new content area with that name:

When a user selects that content area, the LibGuide will open within Blackboard:
