How to enter House Property Details in Taxchanakya.com

After logging in to your account, Click on “Prepare” to start preparing your return.

Now you are in User Option menu > Personal Details. Fill in all your personal details.

In this form, you need to fill

in the contact details.

Now you are in User Options menu > Contact Details. Fill in all your contact details in this form and click Next.

Now you are done with filling the personal and contact details,

now you need to preparing your return. For the respective tax

year, you need to fill in the details about your income sources

between 1st April 2012 and 31st March 2013.


Now you are in “Prepare your return”. Under Add Source of Income, if you own a house property, please select “Yes” in this screen and click Next.

salaried individual, you

need to Add the em-

ployer details using this

link shown.


You will be directed to this page where the summary of income received is displayed. Here you need to click on Add Income from House Property.

Enter the address of the property details here and click save

Summary of income received from House property will be shown here. You have option to add Income from another House Property.



• After entering your Form 16 details, Pension Details, Bank account details and reviewing you draft return, you can file your return.
