So here is the Step by Step Guide for understanding “How to Fill CLAT Application

Form 2016 “:

STEP 1

Go to the CLAT 2016 official website: www.clat.ac.in . Right on the top, you can see

“Apply Online” on the Tabs bar.  Click on this button.

STEP 2

In the page that follows, you have to click on “Register yourself” button to start with filling

your CLAT Application Form 2016, if you’re a new user.

STEP 3

The Registration Form window opens up. Enter your details correctly in the various fields

provided. The mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk. Make sure the information

entered is correct because this cannot be altered later and will be used to send you your

login credentials on the mobile number and email ID as filled in.

STEP 4

Check your mobile phone and/or your email account. You should have received the

Username and Password for your login account on the CLAT 2016 website. Preserve these

credentials as they will be of use till the announcement of result.

 

STEP 5

CLAT Registration is complete, now click on “login” . The Login page is displayed. Enter your

Username and Password as sent to you by the CLAT website on E-mail and SMS.

 

Click on ” Go to Application Form” to Proceed with the application form.

STEP 6

The CLAT Application Form 2016 window opens up. Enter and check your personal details

as filled in previously. Press the “Save and continue” button to proceed.

 

 

STEP 7

Now enter your Qualification or Education Details. Again, make sure the details you enter

are absolutely correct. Double checking always helps.

STEP 8

In the page that follows, you need to give your order of preference for studying in the various

NLUs across the country. Fill in NLU Preferences Choice 1 and so on. This is very important

so please do not fill the preference order in hurry.

STEP 9

The next step in the process of filling your CLAT Application Form 2016 is to upload your

documents and provide your exam centre preference. You need to upload your photograph,

signature and date of birth certificate. Click on Choose File > Upload. Press “Close this

window” after having uploaded all the three required items. Choose from the drop down

menus your preferred location of writing the test at. Proceed with “Save and Continue”.

 

 

STEP 10

The final step is to input the fee details. Choose your payment mode; online or offline. Enter

the text as shown in the image. Click on “I agree” after having read the declaration properly.

STEP 11

Your CLAT Application Form 2016 has been filled in successfully. You can download the

Application form, and the registration slip from here. Keep the Login Username and

Password handy for viewing your CLAT Application Form 2016 as and when required.
