How to Install IDES / SAP GUI at Your Computer

GOTO SITE

http://www.uni-marburg.de/projekte/sap/downloadarea

AND DOWNLOAD “SAP GUI 7.20 “

WHEN IT IS DOWN LOADED THEN THERE WILL BE ZIP FILE BY THE NAME “gui720_c3”

Unzip this file and enter the “gui720_c3” folder

Now enter the Folder “GUI “

then enter Folder “WINDOWS”

then enter folder “ WIN32”,

then there will be many folder and files

Look for “SetupAll.exe” file and Run it.

After installation and ICON

Will appear on the desktop. Double click and then this screen will open :

Select the Connection Folder and goto New option in the upper panel .

This screen will appear, do not select any thing and just enter “NEXT” ,

In the next screen copy paste the following information in the above mentioned screen, leave the first “Description” Box empty it will fill automatically :

 Application Server : i62externalInstance Number : 09System-ID : I62SAProuter-String : /H/ides.consolut.eu/W/consolut/H/

When all boxes are filled click on finish, and then return to the screen below

Click on the “I62” option, then this screen will open :

First write “500” in client box.

Then For user and password goto the following page :

http://www.ides.consolut.eu/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/zuser_req

and register your self and the system will mail you the “user” and “password” . Which you will enter the above mentioned screen and then you can use the free “IDES”.

This password is for 24 Hours only after 1:00 am every day you have to request for new password, goto the address :

http://www.ides.consolut.eu/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/zwebgui

Enter Old user name already allotted to you in SAP Username Box nad your old mailing address used before to get the user id and password in the first time. Then again the system will mail you the new password for the whole day till 1:00 am.
