Download Upgrade Advisor from MicrosoftRequires:

1 gigahertz processor1 gigabyte of RAM for 32-bit version and 2 gigabytes for

64-bit version16 gigabytes free in hard drive for 32-bit version and 20

gigabytes free in hard drive for 64-bit version

1. Download Windows 7 at any well known website, such as download.com

2. Make note of product key.

3. Burn the Windows 7 ISO file to a DVD+R disc

4. Make a back up on the off chance you lose files during the transition

5. Re-insert disc and follow all prompts and recommendations to the step shown on the left

6. Choose custom install and hit next

7. The OS will start installing itself for half an hour to an hour or more, it will restart the computer several times during the process

8. Once finished, you need to re-input all the information you had put in when you first got the computer
