1. Open Google Chrome Browser.
2. Click on the three-dot icon in the top
right corner to open the menu, then select
Settings.
3. Once you are in the Settings menu, click
on About Chrome.
4. Once you’re in the About Chrome menu,
click on the blue link that says Chrome OS
Settings.
5. After you click on Chrome OS Settings, it
will prompt you to Check for Updates. If
there is an update you will see Updating
Your Device and a percentage next to it.
Please wait until the update reaches 100%.
HOW TO LAUNCH A CHROMEBOOK UPDATE *Updates should be performed once a week, or whenever you are
experiencing technical difficulties or connectivity issues.
6. After the update has reached 100%, you
can click Restart to complete the update. If
your Chromebook says it is up to date there
is nothing you need to do.
