How  to  Login  to  Lync    

This  document  will  guide  you  through  how  to  login  and  add  contacts  on  Microsoft  Lync  

 

 

 

 

First  Launch  Microsoft  Lync,  you  will  see  this  screen,  enter  your  CVM  email  address  and    “Sign  In”    

 

 

 

Enter  any  additional  credentials  if  asked  for  them  as  well  as  your  CVM  password  

 

You  should  see  a  splash  screen  come  up  that  looks  like  this,  if  you  want  you  can  click  through  to  see  some  features  of  Lync.  

 

 

 

To  search  for  a  contact,  start  typing  their  name  in  the  search  field.  When  the  person  you’re  looking  for  is  found,  highlight  and  click  the  plus  sign  to  add  them  to  your  frequent  contacts.  

 

 

 

 

If  you  don’t  want  Lync  to  automatically  start  when  you  login,  click  on  the  cog  in  the  top  right  corner  of  the  login  s  

creen.  

 

Under  “Personal”  make  sure  that  the  box  indicated  below  is  unchecked.
