WINDOW 8.1“PrtScn” copies the screenshot to the clipboard. “Windows + PrtScn” takes a screenshot, which is then saved to the user’s Pictures/Screenshots folder.

Mac OS XTaking screenshots on a Mac is really easy , but
there are some ways that screenshots are taken .
1. “Command + Shift + 3″ means taking a screenshot of the entire screen and saving it as an image file to the desktop.
2. “Command + Shift + 4″ allows you to take a screenshot of an area of the screen and save it as an image file to the desktop.
3. If you want to copy the screenshot to the clipboard,
not to save it, just simply Hold down the Control
button( Command + Control + Shift + 3 or
Command + Control + Shift + 4 )
