How to Navigate the "We Supply

Renewables Saudi Arabia" Local

Suppliers Dashboard We Supply Renewables is a user generated portal that allows companies based in the Kingdom of Saudi

Arabia to showcase their products and services to international developers participating in the National

Renewable Energy Program (NREP). The portal offers domestic suppliers access to a multi-billion-dollar

renewable energy investment program that will see the Kingdom install 9.5GW of wind, solar, waste-to-

energy and geothermal projects by 2023. Make sure your company applies for free registration today.

This User Manual describes the steps that must be taken to view the approved Suppliers that registered

on We Supply Renewables Saudi Arabia Supply Chain Portal by using the Analytics Dashboard.

How to Navigate to Find Supplier Dashboard: Step 1: Go to the URL: https://www.wesupplyrenewables.com.sa to access We Supply Renewables

Portal. Once the URL opens, click on “Find a Supplier” icon:

Step 2: On the next screen, read the available text, and click on the “CLICK HERE” link:

Step 3: This action will open a new page. On the new page, you can select one of the three options:

Important Note: Please note that navigating the Solar Dashboard and the Wind Dashboard will not be

covered since they operate in a similar fashion as the Local Supplier Dashboard.

Local Supplier Dashboard: Select this option to search and view Saudi Arabia based Suppliers that have

Registered on We Supply Renewables Portal, and have been Approved by the reviewers. This dashboard

offers a quick view of all suppliers, regardless of the Renewable Energy technology (Solar, Wind, Waste

to Energy…etc)

Solar Dashboard: Select this option to search and view Saudi Arabia based Suppliers participating in

Solar Renewable Energy Projects. This dashboard offers a subset view of the main dashboard and

focuses only on Solar specific information. So while you may find the same information on the Local

Supplier Dashboard, this dashboard simply offers a quick method to view Solar specific data.

Wind Dashboard: Select this option to search and view Saudi Arabia based Suppliers participating in

Wind Renewable Energy Projects. This dashboard offers a subset view of the main dashboard and

focuses only on Wind specific information. So while you may find the same information on the Local

Supplier Dashboard, this dashboard simply offers a quick method to view Wind specific data.

How to Use Local Supplier Dashboard Step 1: From the selection menu, click on “Local Supplier Dashboard” icon:

Step 2: On the next screen, you will land on the Local Supplier Dashboard. Review the screen carefully:

You can view various sets of information on this screen. Kindly note that once again, there is a User

Disclaimer in the bottom of the screen, that you must thoroughly read and understand:

Step 3: On the top of the screen, and starting from the left hand side, you can view “No. Of Registered

Saudi Suppliers” that displays total number of Suppliers Registered and Approved on the We Supply

Renewables Saudi Arabia Supply Chain Portal.

Next you can view a Pie-Chart which displays the Approved Suppliers according to Company Size. The

legend on the right hand side of this pie chart indicates the company size for each color.

The next icon of the solar panel displays number of approved Suppliers that are registered under Solar

categories and the same for the icon of the wind turbines, the number below this icon indicates the total

number of approved Suppliers that are registered under Wind Categories. (Kindly note that single

Supplier can be registered under both Categories)

No. of NREP Projects field displays total number of Projects currently available. As new projects are

announced, they will be added to this section.

You can click on any of the portlets above and view the detailed information.

If you click on “No. of Registered Saudi Suppliers” icon:

You can view shortlist of Suppliers. On this screen, scroll down and view the Suppliers details. Access

any of the provided Supplier information by simply clicking on the Supplier Company Name:

On the next screen, you can view full Supplier information:

Click “Reset” icon on the bottom right-side of the screen to reset the Dashboard content and start fresh

new search/filter:

In similar way, you can click on segment of the Pie-Chart:

By clicking on a segment of the pie chart, the dashboard screen gets updated and the data will be

filtered based on the selection you have made on the pie chart (notice that the page now displays only

“Large” Suppliers):

You can also view shortlist of Solar or Wind Suppliers by selecting the appropriate icons:

Notice how Dashboard will display only “Solar” or “Wind” suppliers (based on selection):

Finally, you can click on “No of NREP Projects” icon to view the current Projects available:

Once clicked, you can view the shortlist of ALL available projects. You can access Project details by

clicking on Project Title:

Important Note: Please note that number of Projects will increase as new Projects will be initiated.

The next screen displays the details of the Project, including short description and location. After

reviewing the details, you can click on “Back to Local Supplier Dashboard” icon on top right-hand side to

return to the search options:

Step 4: In the center part of the screen, you can view “Suppliers by Supply Chain Category” section, that

displays total number of Suppliers per Category of the We Supply Renewable Saudi Arabia Supply Chain

Portal.

Next to it, the “Suppliers & Projects by Location” map displays location of the Suppliers as well as

Projects in Saudi Arabia.

Important Note: Circles on the map indicate Suppliers. The larger the size of the circle, the larger the

number of Suppliers available in that location of the map and the colors indicate the size of the

company.

You can click on the map circle or Supplier names to view the relevant information and list. You can also

hover your mouse over the fields on map or chart next to it, to see additional information:

On the Map, you can use additional interactive features to Zoom In/Zoom Out, navigate to other

Countries and return to Saudi Arabia with a single click of “Home” icon, or additionally, highlight areas

on the map in different ways to identify Projects and Suppliers in that highlighted area:

Step 5: On the bottom of the screen, you can view “List of Selected Suppliers”. This field by default

displays all the Registered and Approved Suppliers. However, this section is shortlisted based on section

above.

Next to it, you can view portlet that displays the Suppliers by Size, based on Location within Saudi

Arabia.

You can also hover your mouse over the fields on map or chart next to it, to see additional information:

Step 6: Finally, you can use simpler search options, by using the available Filters on top right-hand side

of the screen:

Supply Chain Category Filter: You can apply this filter, by simply clicking on the field and selecting or

typing the required categories, to view the Suppliers that have selected the same Categories in their

Profiles, and then click “Apply” icon:

This action will display the Suppliers that have matching Categories in their Profiles:

Supplier Company Name Filter: You can apply this filter, by simply clicking on the field and selecting the

Company or typing the required Company Name, to search for Suppliers by their Company Name. In this

Filter option, you do not have to click on “Apply” icon as any selection will immediately display the

Supplier:

Company Size Filter: You can apply this filter, by simply clicking on the field and selecting the Company

Size required, to search for Suppliers by their Company Size. In this Filter option, you do not have to click

on “Apply” icon as any selection will immediately display the Supplier:

Step 7: You can click the “BACK” arrow on top right-side of the screen to return to Main Menu to switch

between Dashboard options explained in Step 3:
