guide contentsParty Order .................................................................................................2-5 When a Hostess invites friends to a Thirty-One party or collects orders by sharing catalogs with friends, these orders will be submitted as a Party Order. The party subtotal must be $200.00 or more (not including S&H) to qualify.

Retail Customer Order......................................................................................6A retail Customer order is any order that is less than $200.00 (for example, a client placing an order through your website or calling you with an order). All retail orders should be entered under one guest rather than multiple guests. An extra $4.00 separate shipping fee applies in addition to the 8%.

Consultant Business Supplies ...........................................................................7 Order catalogs, order forms, invitations, door prize pads and more supplies to help support your Thirty-One business. Check out thirtyonetoday.com for the most current supplies and pictures!

Consultant Discounts .........................................................................Back CoverA Consultant discount of 25% is given all year long when items are purchased as part of a business supply order. Each year the company may offer the opportunity to purchase Fall products at 40% off.

Hostess Incentive This is the price level used for the Consultant to be able to enter the Hostess’ monthly special on the party order. Refer to the monthly special flyer and if necessary, the Consultant ordering instructions for details on entering Hostess specials each month.

how to place an orderIf you do not have a personal website or have not created an Open Party Event on your website to accept online orders, then log on “www.mythirtyone.com”. Log-in by entering your ID number and your password to go to your Back Office. On your tool bar, click “Order”.

Select the order type, your options are:1. Retail Customer Order (single orders or anything under $200.00)2. Party Order (over $200.00)3. Business Supply Order

If you have an ‘Event’ set up online, and orders have been placed on the event, you must begin entering your order from the Event page. For more detailed instructions, visit www.thirtyonetoday.com. Click on ‘Consultant’s Toolbox’ then “Submitting A Party With Online Orders”.

After choosing your order type, enter the Hostess/Consultant personal information. Upon entering the zip code you may have to choose a sales tax rate (note: sales tax rate is computed based upon the local tax rate at the Hostess address entered above).

Note: If your Hostess booked her party while attending a previous party, please enter the booking ID. This Booking ID will ensure that the previous Hostess receives her $5 Hostess Reward.

Click ”Submit” to proceed to your order page.

personalizationEnter Personalization

To add personalization to an item, answer “Yes” when you see this question “Would you like your item personalized?”. You will then be prompted to choose your font color, lettering style, font style, and number of lines. Please read each line carefully. You must enter the name or letters exactly as you want it to appear on your product.

Enter Guest

Click “Add a Guest or Booking”. In the first box it reads “Ship to Hostess”. This box must be checked at all times unless your order contains a “direct ship.” Then you need to uncheck the “Ship To Hostess” box. The system will automatically charge the guest an additional $4 shipping charge.

The following box reads “Create a Booking”. If this particular guest books a party make sure that box is checked. A box will then come up and ask for the scheduled party date. Enter the date and then continue to fill out all personal information for your guest.

Click “Enter” to return to the order page.

Enter Order

Note: If the guest is a previous Hostess, her $5 Booking Reward will automatically appear if her Booking ID was correctly entered and the spelling of her name matches how it was entered when she was a Hostess. Once the previous Hostess is entered as a guest, choose “Previous Hostess Credit” pricing level in the drop down menu before entering the item number.

Enter the item number or description and the quantity. (If a guest has two or more of the same item, enter the total quantity. The system will allow you to enter the personalization for each item later.)

Click “Add/Look-up.”

If your product is able to be embroidered, a personalization page will appear. If you do not want your product personalized, please answer “No”in the drop down menu and click “Done Personalizing” to return to the order page. Clicking “Cancel” will remove the item from the cart.

Enter Hostess Items

Scroll down to the order summary at the bottom of the page to see the Hostess Credit Earned/Remaining, any Hostess incentives earned and the Hostess Half Price Earned/Taken. Be sure your numbers match these of the website. Note: The Hostess Rewards are based on the “Hostess Plan base amount.” In addition, this total must be $200 or more to qualify as a Party.

When you are ready to enter your Hostess items, go to your drop down box to select your pricing level. Your options are:

1. Hostess Credit*2. Hostess Half Price*3. Hostess Incentive*4. Hostess Retail*

Enter your Hostess “free” items as “Hostess Credit.”

Enter your Hostess half-price items as “Hostess Half Price.”

Enter Hostess Monthly Special as “Hostess Incentive” unless otherwise noted in Consultant Instructions for Monthly Special in Consultant Toolbox on thirtyonetoday.com

Enter “Hostess Retail” for items at the Hostess 10% discount.

Additionally, when the party reaches $500 or $1000, your Hostess may choose to purchase a Hostess Exclusive product. Select “Exclusive Hostess Offer” and then add in the product.*These pricing levels do not count toward the Hostess qualifying volume or the Consultant’s personal volume/commission.

Use your Embroidery Guide to help you select the correct fonts and colors for your Customers. Note: On 3 initial monograms, the center letter (last name initial) is always larger.

Click “Done Personalizing” to return to your order page.

When you are ready to enter another guest, click “Add a Guest” to return to guest order entry. You must enter each guest individually to calculate their correct total.

Once you have completed all guest orders, you are now ready to enter your Hostess Items.

Hostess Shipping: For examples of how to calculate Hostess’ shipping, check thirtyonetoday.com for our Sales Tax/Shipping Calculation document.

Enter any additional items that she may want to purchase under Hostess Retail. Note: If Hostess wishes to purchase a Customer Special, she must be entered as a guest. Hostess and Customer Specials may not be combined.

When you are finished entering all of your Hostess items, check your entire order. Note: Once your order is submitted to the Home Office it can’t be changed. Review carefully before submitting! Please take great care when placing your orders.

Once you are sure the order is correct, click “Payments”. Your Back Office will accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Payments are processed when the customer or Consultant clicks the “Submit” button.

If your guests paid separately with a credit card click “credit card payment” and select the first guest to pay in the drop down box. After entering one card number click “Save Payment”.

Please Note: It is the Consultant’s responsibility to safeguard all customer credit card information when using the secure connection in your online Virtual Office and to safely destroy ALL documents containing customer credit card information immediately after the order is completed. Continue to enter each individual payment until your outstanding balance is $0.00.

If your guests paid by check (made payable to either you or the Hostess) or cash, you may enter your or your Hostess’ personal credit card number for the total amount of checks and cash that you deposit into your checking account. To do so, select Consultant and enter your card number for the balance of the party total.

Select “Save Payment” and you will be directed back to the previous screen. When you are ready to send, click “Submit Order to Home Office.”

Final Steps

You will be given an Order Number. Please reference this number if you contact the Home Office with any questions regarding your order.

retail customer orderTo place a retail customer order log on to www.mythirtyone.com. Log-in by entering your ID number and your password to go to your virtual office. On your tool bar, click “Order”. Select the order type of “Retail Customer Order”.

Enter Shipping Information

After choosing “Retail Customer Order” enter the shipping address. Upon entering the zip code you may have to choose a sales tax rate (Note: sales tax rate is computed based the local tax rate at the Customer address entered above).

Note: On retail customer orders you are only able to enter one shipping address. Individual orders under $200 are assessed a charge of 8% of retail sales plus a $4.00 shipping charge.

Click “Submit” to proceed to the order page.

Enter Order

Enter your item number or description and the quantity. (If a guest has two or more of the same item, enter the total quantity. The system will allow you to enter the personalization for each item later.)

Click “Add/Look-up”

If your product is able to be embroidered, a personalization page will appear. Please refer to page 3 of this manual for instructions for entering personalization.

Once you are sure the order is correct, click “Payments”.

After entering the card number click “Save Payment” which will take you back to the previous screen and click “Submit Order To Home Office”.

business supplies orderTo place a Business Supply Order, log on to www.mythirtyone.com. Log-in by entering your ID number and your password to go to your Back Office. On your toolbar, click “Order.” Select the order type of “Business Supply Order.” You may enter an item number for business supplies at prices listed below. If you want to receive your Consultant discount you may enter a catalog item number for 25 percent off the retail price. These purchases do not count toward your personal volume. Please refer to the complete business supply selection list on thirtyonetoday.com.

other Consultant discounts25% off Consultant OrderYou can place an order and get 25% off any product anytime. This is great for adding products to your display kit, ordering door prizes, Hostess gifts, or anytime a Customer needs something replaced outside of our return policy. To place this type of order, choose “Business Supply Order”. (S&H fee of 8% plus $4 applies)

Annual September Special OrderEach September, every active Consultant gets the opportunity to order one of every item in the catalog at 40% off. This is a great way to add to your kit display for the Fall season. Check thirtyonetoday.com in August for full ordering details.
