How to prepare for eLitmus pH Test?

I often get this question asked everywhere I meet new engineering freshers looking for jobs.

Well, eLitmus is a relatively tough exam , the questions are really good and at par with CAT questions, but

the best thing about it is that it is relative.

Which means, If the questions is tough, it is tough for everyone and hence the chance of getting a good

percentile is really high if you score good enough in each section.

So, It sums up to : "You just have to perform better than others and not worry about the difficulty of

the questions."

For eLitmus English Section:

This section is quite easy and going through basic CAT preparation material is more than enough.

2. How much time does it take to prepare for eLitmus?

To prepare thoroughly for eLitmus , it generally takes about a month. If you are good at Quantitative

Aptitude and have prepared well for your campus written round , you should hardly need 20 days of

preparation.

3. How difficult is the eLitmus pH Test paper? or what is the difficulty level of

eLitmus pH Test paper?

The paper is not easy, the casual aptitude preparation won't help here. If you have not practised CAT

questions, it is really hard to get a good percentile in eLitmus.

If I had to compare the difficulty level of eLitmus with something, it would be the LEVEL 2 questions of Arun

6. How many Questions are asked in eLitmus ?

There are 20 Questions in each section of eLitmus and there are 3 sections. So there are a total of 60

questions that you have to answer in 120 minutes.

7. How much time is given for eLitmus pH Test?

The duration of the pH Test is 120 minutes.

8. How many marks should I score in eLitmus pH Test to get call from

companies?

Each section is for 200 marks i.e. each question carries 10 marks.

To get calls from decent companies you should answer:

1. Quants Section : At least 8 questions Correctly.

2. Logical Reasoning : At least 8 questions Correctly

3. Verbal Ability : At least 10 questions Correctly.

17. Where can I get Arun Sharma pdf Books?

Well, F**k U ! Go and buy the book! We do not deal with people who can not even buy a book that will fetch

him/her a job.

18. What is the minimum percentile to get a call?

80 percentile overall and >70 percentile in each section will increase your chances of getting calls.

But sometimes, companies who focus entirely on technical and logical skills might ignore the English /

Verbal ability Section But Do not take that Risk!.

19. Is there any limit on the number of interviews a person can decline?

If you accept the interview call but do not attend it, you will be blacklisted after 3 such incidents. I advise not

to do that !
