Go over all the cluster of subjects and competencies of the different tests . Read all references you can read about the competencies to the point of mastery .

On the day of the LET Allow plenty of time to get to the test site. Keep calm. If you get tense, take a few deep

breaths. Budget your time wisely. Follow instructions.

General Instructions to Examinees Report to the test center before 6:30 AM

on the first day of the examination to verify your room and seat numbers .

Late examinees will not be admitted. (Res.N0.2004-211, s.04)

Attend to your personal needs before the start of the examination in every subject. NO EXAMINEE WILL BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE EXAMINATION ROOM DURING THE EXAMINATION.

General Instruction to Examinees • Do not leave the room until:

- your answer sheet and test question set are received by the room watchers - you have signed , indicated the time and set ( A or B) on the Examinees’ Record of Attendance and - the lower portion of your Notice of Admission ( certification on the Receipt of Test Papers ) is signed by Room Watchers and returned to you.

How to Handle Test Booklets Write your seat number at the right top

corner of page 1. Check if the number of pages of the Test

Booklet is complete and has no misprint .If there is any problem, return the set to your Room Watchers for replacement.

Indicate the set of your Test Booklet by marking A or B on your answer sheet.

You may use your test booklet for solving, writing.

Corrections, Rating and Release These are fully computerized. Answer sheets ( no names ) are read by

an Optic Mark Reader. Answers are matched with the Answer

Key and rated by computers. Test results are FINAL upon release. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS RE-

CHECKING OF TEST PAPERS . BEWARE OF FIXERS.

Learning from Other Examinees ‘ Mistakes Don’t shade your answers too heavily nor

too thinly or lightly. Shade your answers on the right spot. No erasures! Shade answers with your pencil NOT with

your ballpen. There is only one answer to every question.

How to handle ID/Answer Sheet Check if the serial number of the

Examinee Identification Sheet / Answer Sheets are the same for all the sheets. If there is any discrepancy , return the set to your Room Watchers for replacement .The Serial Number is NOT the examination number.

Check if there are defects or unnecessary marks on your Examinee ID Sheet/Answer Sheet.

How to Handle the Answer Sheet Check if the number of Answer Sheets

correspond to the number of examination subjects.

Do not fold or mutilate. Take extra care to keep clean your Examinee ID/Answer Sheets.

Rating in the LET- BSEd ( Secondary ) The passing rating is 75%. This is a

contribution of : - 20% of the Gen Ed rating - 40% of the Prof Ed - 40% of the Specialization

To pass you must have an average rating of 75% but you must have no rating below 50% in any of the 3 tests.

Rating in the LET- BEEd ( Elementary ) The passing rating is 75%. This is a

contribution of : - 40% of the Gen Ed rating - 60% of the Prof Ed - Preschool and SPED are incorporated in the Prof Ed

To pass you must have an average rating of 75% but you must have no rating below 50% in any of the 3 tests.
