Standardized Courses
BLS/CPR In-Person Skills Session (AHA) The American Heart Association’s (AHA) HeartCode® Basic Life Support/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (BLS/CPR) Course is designed for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in the healthcare setting. It consists of HeartCode BLS Part 1 (online course) and BLS Skills checks.
ACLS Provider Course (AHA) This two-day course follows American Heart Association (AHA) curriculum for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) program.
ACLS Renewal Course (AHA) This one-day course follows American Heart Association (AHA) curriculum for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) program. Must hold a current ACLS card to take this course.
NRP Provider Course (AHA & AAP) The Neonatal Resuscitation Program® (NRP®) designed by AAP and AHA is an evidence and team-based approach for healthcare professionals for the care of the newborn. NRP utilizes a blended learning approach which includes online testing with case-based simulations, hands-on simulation/debriefing that focus on communication and team-work skills.
PALS Provider Course (AHA & AAP) The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) curriculum is a two-day course designed by the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
PALS Renewal Course (AHA & AAP) The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) curriculum is a one-day course designed by the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Must hold a current PALS Provider card to take this course. Course includes skills stations, didactic & interactive case scenarios.
PEARS Provider Course (AHA & AAP) The Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS)® curriculum is a one-day course designed by the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Course includes skill stations, didactic & interactive case scenarios with a focus on management of pediatric respiratory & shock diagnoses.
