1 2013 WORKSHOPS G h o s t R a n c h . o r g | 877.804.4678 LODGING—SIMPLE, NO FRILLS Ghost Ranch offers rustic, comfortable lodging accommodations reflec- tive of its origins as a working ranch. There are tiered pricing options for rooms with private baths, semi-private baths, dorm-style and camping. All lodging options are within walking distance of classroom buildings, the dining hall and library and other structures via non-paved roads. Expect loose gravel and uneven terrain. All units provide breathtaking vistas of colorful sandstone cliffs, cotton- woods and distant mountains. After sundown, our expansive skies offer dazzling panoramas of the planets and stars (and in August, the Perseid meteor showers) without pollution of city lights. See pages 62-67 of the catalog for room descriptions, lodging and meals fees, travel and other helpful information. Rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to those with accessibility requirements. In all lodging options, if you do not register with a companion, a roommate may be assigned to you during busy periods on the Ranch. Single occupancy rooms may not be available during peak course weeks. For other months of the year single occupancy rooms may be available for an additional $360 for the week on a space available basis. We observe the honor system at Ghost Ranch — while our guest rooms with private and semi-private bathrooms are newly equipped with key-pad locks, rooms in our communal lodging facilities do not have locks. You will not find clocks, televisions, radios, telephones or internet access in our guest rooms. Since we are located at an altitude of 6,500 feet, no lodging units have air-conditioning, but they do have screened windows, screen doors and fans. Towels and bed linens are provided. Maid and porter service are not available. We offer free Wi-fi access in select locations on the Ranch and a terminal with internet access in the Trading Post Café is available 24-hours. Due to our remote location, your cell phone may not work. We have phones available for guest use; long-distance calls require a phone card (available in the Trading Post). ARRIVING EARLY OR STAYING LATER If you are coming earlier or staying later than your course dates, you must make extended stay reservations with the front desk (extension 0). Stays before or after your class will be charged at the regular overnight lodging fee which is different from the nightly charge for lodging when you are enrolled in a class. When you are staying for multiple weeks of classes in a row, the bridge night (Sunday) is included at no additional charge. HOW TO REGISTER your true nature 2013 WORKSHOPS

regiSter eArLy: In order to provide individual attention and opportunity for field trips, class sizes may be limited, so sign up early! Your early reg-istration will also help us ensure that the course will have enough participants to proceed. Everyone coming to Ghost Ranch must be registered in advance via the website, by mail or by phone including any R&R (non-course) participant family members or friends accom-panying those enrolling for a course, all children and anyone using the campground.

regiStrAtion feeS & pAyment: The appropriate fee is listed below the course name. The R&R (non-course) participant fee of $150 per week is charged for those who are not registering for a course themselves but are coming with someone who is registering for a course. The registration fee does not include lodging and meals. A 50% deposit of total fees (workshop, lodging and meals, shuttle) is due when you register. If you are unable to pay the deposit, please contact the Registrar’s Office to make arrange-ments. Payment may be made by check payable to Ghost Ranch, Visa or MasterCard.

CourSe dAteS & CLASS HourS: The first and last dates listed are considered travel days unless otherwise noted. Most six night classes have morning (9 a.m.–12 p.m.) and evening (7-8:30 p.m.) sessions, with afternoons free. Weekend/shorter workshop offerings may have a more intense schedule. Some courses may offer optional afternoon studio time or an occasional field trip. These are noted in the work-shop description. Summer Youth Activities program is available June 17-August 11. Please note, afternoon childcare is not provided. See page 12.

CHeCk- in informAtion: Check-in will begin after 3:00 p.m. on the first stated date of your course with dinner at 5:30 p.m., followed by a Ghost Ranch orientation. Individual classes will meet briefly thereafter. Full weeks end with an 8:30 a.m. Sunday worship service during summer. Some off-season weeks may also have a Sunday worship service at 8:30 a.m. Check-out time is 10 a.m. on the last date of your course.

finAnCiAL ASSiStAnCe: Ghost Ranch is blessed with individuals who con-tribute funds so that financial assistance is available towards a portion of your class registration fee only. Scholarships are given (but not limited) to clergy, first-time visitors and our neighbors in Northern New Mexico. Scholarship form is downloadable on the website.

CAnCeLLAtion & trAnSfer poLiCy: Written notification must be received no later than 30 days prior to the start date of your course in order to receive a refund, minus a $100 processing charge. No refunds will be processed after that time. We reserve the right to announce a change in leadership or cancel any program 30 days prior to the first day of the course. In that unlikely event, you may transfer to another course without charge or we will refund the full course payment. Many participants have found it helpful to purchase travel insurance.
