A miracle is that supernatural inter-vention of God that transcends all humanreasoning. Everyone at one point or the otherrequires this supernatural intervention.When we are faced with a seemingly hope-less situation; when we require the circum-stances of our lives to change; when medi-cal Science offers little or no hope and hu-man reasoning proffers no solution - it’s timefor a miracle.

This book contains vital informationon basic principles that will help you reachout and receive your miracle, and beyondthat, teach you how to ward off the counter-attack of the devil, and retain your miracle.

Assumptions, opinions and teach-ings not based on the Word of God have heldmany from receiving from God. To receive amiracle, therefore, you will have to rid your-self of these limiting assumptions. Some ofthem even sound religious or pious, but theycan only offer human comfort devoid of theassurance of the Holy Spirit.

There are many today who have notreceived divine healing or some othermiracle, because of their inassurance of Hiswillingness. Many of them pray to Him toheal them, and do not get healed becausethey don’t really expect Him to heal themor they are not certain of His will.

“ Is God willing to heal me? Will He healme?”

This is the question in many heartstoday. They know they want to be healed.The doctor has given up hope or offers littleof it. They are willing to be healed, but theyhave been told God heals whoever Hechooses to, and doesn’t even do so all thetime. So, they are not sure if they will beamong the lucky ones to be healed.

Generally, people don’t questionGod’s ability to heal them. Their doubts arisewhen it comes to His willingness to healthem particularly.

However, the Bible clearly lets us

know God’s will concerning divine healing.

“And there came a leper to him, beseechinghim, and kneeling down to him, and sayingunto him, if thou wilt, thou canst make meclean”. (Mark 1:40)

This man was a leper who came outto Jesus in the city. When he saw Jesus, hebowed and worshipped Him and said, “Lord,if thou wilt thou canst make me clean”.

Just like many people today, the leperdidn’t question the Lord’s ability. He prob-ably had heard of His many miracles. Heprobably knew of some other leper who hadbeen healed. Like some today, who are verymuch aware of their neighbour’s testimonyof healing from cancer, or asthma, or diabe-tes, yet they wonder, ‘what about me? Yes, Iknow so and so was healed, but what about me?Will He heal me?’

Thank God we have His Word toguide us. Thank God we can read the Lord’sreply. I always say that Jesus knew He was

answering not only the question in the heartsof those who were present then, but thatalso of many generations to come. Thus, Heboth demonstrated and verbally affirmedHis willingness to heal. “And Jesus, movedwith compassion, put forth His hand, andtouched him, and saith unto him, I will; bethou clean” (Mark 1:41).

With much compassion, Hestretched forth His hand and touched himeven before he was cured, something thatno one else would have done for fear of con-tamination. By that simple touch Jesus dem-onstrated love, compassion and acceptanceto the leper and gave him assurance of Hiswill to heal him, as He replied, “I WILL: bethou clean”.

The reply of the Master still appliestoday, and should allay your fears. He canheal you, but even more importantly, Hewants to heal you. This should help youknow the mind of God, so you can have theright attitude, perception and understand-ing of God’s Word on this issue, as these will

positively influence the effectiveness of yourprayers. Believe it’s God’s will to heal you.

There are those who think that Godwould only heal someone when He wantsto; and when He doesn’t, He wouldn’t. Theythink, ‘Whenever God chooses, He will healme,’ but that’s not true. It used to be truebut it is no longer true.

Let me illustrate it this way. Imaginethat I am a student in college and my dadsaid to me, “I will send you money once everymonth”. Then I thanked him and went toschool. Throughout that semester, he sent memoney monthly, and I lacked nothing. Nowthat was the way we operated that wholesemester.

Then came a new semester and myDad said to me, “I have opened an account foryou in a bank close to your school and deposited

an amount of money in it, having known whatit took you to go through the last semester.Whenever you need money, go down to thatbank and get it yourself”. Now it’s no longertrue this semester that he sends me moneymonthly. That was true last semester butthings are different this new semester. Nowthere is a better system. All the money Iwould need for this semester has been paidto my account. Understand the difference?That is the same way God operates with usnow.

Back in the Old Testament, He said,“… I will be gracious to whom I will begracious, and will shew mercy on whom Iwill shew mercy” (Exodus 33:19). But thenHe said to Abraham, “Through your seed shallall the nations of the earth be blessed” (Gen-esis 12:2-3).

The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ isthe Seed of Abraham to whom all the prom-ises were made, and if you belong to Christthen you are Abraham’s seed, and an heiraccording to the promise (Galatians 3: 16,

29).So now that Christ has come, we are

‘the blessed’. God has given us all of the bless-ings in Him. He doesn’t have any more bless-ings He’s holding back from us, and saying,“Whenever I choose to, I’ll give it to you”. No!He has made all the blessings available to usin Christ Jesus.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our LordJesus Christ, who hath blessed us with allspiritual blessings in heavenly places inChrist: According as he hath chosen us inhim before the foundation of world’ that weshould be holy and without blame before himin love: Having predestinated us unto theadoption of children by Jesus Christ to him-self, according to the good pleasure of hiswill, To the praise of the glory of his grace,wherein he hath made us accepted in thebeloved. In whom we have redemptionthrough his blood, the forgiveness of sins,according to the riches of his grace;”(Ephesians 1:3-7)



Notice that he didn’t say ‘who is go-ing to’, but he said ‘who hath’. God has al-ready blessed us with all spiritual blessingsin heavenly realms. He didn’t say, ‘withsome spiritual blessings’, but ‘with ALL spiri-tual blessings in heavenly places in Christ’Your health is just one of those blessings.

Spiritual blessings are actually thegreatest. All other blessings come from thespiritual, because the spirit world gave birthto the material world.

The Bible tells us that “In the begin-ning God created the heaven and the earth”(Genesis 1:1). God pre-existed the heavensand the earth He created. God is a Spirit(John 4: 4), and if He being a Spirit, createdthe material and physical world, which Hedid, then the spirit world in which Goddwells must be greater than the material andphysical. So, spiritual blessings gave birth tophysical and material blessings. This meanswhen God tells us He has blessed us with allspiritual blessings, He has actually given useverything.

You see, in the mind of God, you havebeen healed already. If you are born again,the Bible says of Jesus, “...by whose stripes,ye were healed.” (1 Peter 2: 24). Peter wasreferring to Isaiah’s prophecy in Isaiah 53.Isaiah in his time looked into the future andsaw Jesus giving Himself for the world. Thenhe declared, “...with his stripes we arehealed.” (Isaiah 53:5). Peter, on the otherhand, looks back from a New Testamentposition at what Christ had already done,and affirms, “...by whose stripes YE WEREHEALED.”

This should correct the wrong as-sumption that God will heal only when Hewants to, because He’s already done it. Hedid it 2000 years ago. So when does Godwant you healed? ‘2000 years ago’! Thisshould let you know that God has done ev-erything necessary for you to live a healthy,fulfilling life. But it’s one thing for God togive, and another for you to receive. Rightnow, you may not be experiencing the bless-ing you have desired for so long, but the



problem is not with God giving it to you.Just like the illustration I gave of my dadopening an account for me, and depositingall the money I needed to go through thesemester, God also has opened for us a jointaccount with Jesus and has made an all-suf-ficient, all-time deposit in that account. Ev-erything Jesus has, and every right and privi-lege that He enjoys, belongs to you today. Itis now up to you to make withdrawals onthat account as often as you need to.

This is a lie from the pit of hell, and alot of Christians have bought it hook, lineand sinker. Quite a number of people, bothbelievers and non-believers, sincerely believethat God inflicts sickness on His children tomake them humble. In their religious minds,they think God knew that but for the sick-ness, some of His children would have lived

terrible lives. But the Bible lets us know that“Every good gift and every perfect gift isfrom above, and cometh down from the Fa-ther of lights, with whom is no variable-ness, neither shadow of turning.” (James1:17).

Only good gifts come from our heav-enly Father. Sicknesses would hardly qualifyas a gift, not to mention being a good or per-fect one. Sickness is from the devil and Goddoes not need the devil’s tool to fix any goodthing for His children. Why would He haveto use the instrument of Satan to perform agood deed in your life? If God put sicknesson you to humble you and then you ran toyour doctor, or took drugs to take awaywhat God put on you to make you humble,wouldn’t that be hypocrisy? The truth is Godnever inflicts sickness on any of His childrento make them humble.

A good father would never like to seehis children suffer. Rather, he works hardto ensure they don’t. No earthly parent couldlove or care for his children better than God.



No parent could be more willing to do goodthings for their family than He. God is thebest daddy there is. He is your Father andHe wants the very best for you. Recognizeand take full advantage of the Fatherhoodof God, knowing that His will is to bless andnot to curse.

John by the Spirit spoke the heart ofGod when he said, “Beloved, I wish aboveall things that thou mayest prosper and bein health, even as thy soul prospereth.” (3John 2).

This is God’s desire for you. He ismore willing to heal you than you are readyto be healed. He anointed Jesus with theHoly Ghost and with power, and Jesus wentabout doing good and healing all that wereoppressed of the devil (Acts 10: 38).

Jesus was anointed to bless you. Hewas anointed to help you get well and livein health. That is what He came to do; togive you abundant life (John 10:10).

God continually proves His willing-ness to heal people at our teaching and heal

ing crusades. So many people are healed ofdiverse kinds of sicknesses; across severalcities and nations. Christians, Muslims, athe-ists; all are healed, with some not even ex-pecting to receive a miracle. Glory to God!This is just one simple proof of God’s will-ingness, and eagerness to heal. Now let thesetruths be settled in your heart forever:

God can heal you. He has the powerto.God wants you well.

God’s will is your healing.If He has healed so many others be-fore you, then He will heal you too. Hepaid for your healing in Christ Jesus.What He has done for one, He will dofor anyone under the same circum-stances. And even if your case is thefirst ever of its kind, God will meet youat the point of your need. He hashealed many such “first cases” before.Remember Jesus Christ is the same yes



terday, today and forever!

God is not choosing whom to blessand whom not to bless. He’s not choosing tobless one and curse the other. He has cho-sen to bless everyone in Christ Jesus. Thequestion now is: How do we tap into whatbelongs to us? How do we receive and enjoythe blessings that are already ours? How dowe receive a miracle without trying to getGod to give it, since He already has? Youmay be in a situation right now where youknow what you need is a miracle. You knowif anyone can help you, it has to be God. Iwant you to know that that miracle is closeto you now.

Let me begin to show you how to re-ceive a miracle.

“And a certain woman which hadan issue of blood twelve years, And had suf-fered many things of many physicians, andhad spent all that she had, and was nothingbettered, but rather grew worse, When shehad heard of Jesus, came in the press be-hind, and touched his garment. For she said,If I may touch but his clothes, I shall bewhole. And straightway the fountain of herblood was dried up; and she felt in her bodythat she was healed of that plague. AndJesus, immediately knowing in himself thatvirtue had gone out of him, turned him aboutin the press, and said, Who touched myclothes? And his disciples said unto him,Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, andsayest thou, Who touched me? And helooked round about to see her that had donethis thing. But the woman fearing and trem-bling, knowing what was done in her, cameand fell down before him, and told him allthe truth. And he said unto her, Daughter,thy faith had made thee whole; go in peace,and be whole of thy plague.” (Mark 5:25-

34)This is a beautiful story, but it wasn’t

written for us to admire the power of Jesusor applaud the woman’s faith. By followingthe example of this woman, you will be tak-ing the same sure steps she took towards hermiracle, and you will have the same results.

This woman had suffered a terriblehemorrhage for 12 years, but the process ofher change began when she heard of Jesusand believed in His ability to heal her. Youmust HEAR IT. This is the first step towardsyour miracle.

“…faith cometh by hearing and hearing bythe WORD of God.”(Romans 10:17).

If you don’t hear, faith cannot come.Faith is not something you are born withfrom your mother’s womb. You may say

‘Well, since I was born, I’ve never had faith.’But now that you need a miracle, hear theWord of God and believe! That’s the onlyway faith can come to you. God’s Word im-parts faith to the human spirit. He has madethe human spirit with the ability and thecapacity to receive the Word of God anddevelop faith. No matter who you are andwhat your case is, when you listen to theWord of God and believe it, faith will cometo you.

This is the reason we publicise ourhealing crusades. Some people ask, “Whydo you advertise?” We are simply adoptingthe same strategy that Jesus used to reachpeople in His day. He organized publicitycampaigns to create awareness among thepeople and inspire them to come receive theirhealing. At one time, He sent out His twelvedisciples to preach the Gospel and heal thesick (Mathew 10: 5-8). Another time He sentseventy disciples to go before Him into ev-ery city where He was billed to preach. Theywent announcing His coming, healing the

sick as they did (Luke 10:1-9).“How then shall they call on him in whomthey have not believed? and how shall theybelieve in him of whom they have not heard?and how shall they hear without a preacher?”(Romans 10:14).

This is why it’s so important for themessage to be proclaimed loudly enough forpeople to hear it. There are so many peopledesperately in need of a miracle, and untilthey hear of such meetings where the powerof God is present to heal them, they maynever have faith to be touched by God andreceive their healing.

You’ve got to hear God’s Word aboutyour situation. Ask yourself, “What has Godsaid about my case?” When you hear it, youcan know the right steps to take. If what HisWord says is that He’s going to do somethingabout it, then you can ask Him to do it, butif He says He’s already done it, there is nouse asking Him to do it anymore. What youought to do is receive what He has already



done.This woman had suffered twelve

long years. Some of the doctors who treatedher didn’t know what to do for her anymore.Others just took advantage of her desperatesituation to extort money from her. She hadbecome poor from paying them, and all shehad to show for it was her worsened state.She could have thought there was nobodyto help her anymore and given up all hopeafter those twelve years. Then, she heardabout Jesus. She heard all the wonderful tes-timonies about Him, how He was openingblind eyes, unstopping deaf ears, healing thecrippled, making the maimed whole again,cleansing the lepers, raising the dead, andshe believed. Faith rose up in her. She wason course to receiving a spectacular miracle!

When you have heard the messageand believed, the next thing is to SAY IT.

When she heard of Jesus, she said ‘if I maybut touch his clothes, I shall be whole.’ ‘She saidit.’ The Bible lets us know that she said thisto herself. In Matthew’s account of the samestory, he says,

“And, behold, a woman, which, was diseasedwith an issue of blood twelve years camebehind him, and touched the hem of his gar-ment: For she said within herself…”(Mathew 9: 20-21).

You see, she wasn’t talking to any-body in particular, but she said it withinherself and convinced herself of it.

She must have told herself, “I don’tneed that man to lay hands on me, if I canjust touch the hem of His garment, I shall bewell”.

This is what you must do. Voice yourfaith. Say it with your own mouth, ‘I will behealed.’ Several times I have asked peopleat our programmes if they knew they weregoing to be healed, and some of them said



they had actually made up their minds theywould be healed that day. They say thingslike ‘I knew that this was my day’, ‘I cameexpecting to receive my miracle’ Of course,there were those who didn’t expect to behealed and still got a miracle. Yes, it doeshappen like that too, but the surest way toreceiving it, and keeping it is through thesesteps I am sharing with you. Once you hearthe word about it and believe it, then pro-claim it, voice your faith. Tell yourself andanybody who cares to listen, what you aregoing to receive from God.

After voicing her faith, the womanwith the issue of blood needed to take an-other crucial step. She had to ACT on whatshe had believed and affirmed.

Now watch this.

You may have decided what youwant to do, but, don’t expect that everythingwould just be easy. This woman whose storyhas taught us so much also faced a big chal-lenge, but she overcame it. Her condition didnot favour what she was about to do. Jesuswould hardly be found alone in the streets,but she was determined to touch Him all thesame. She had gathered enough informationon His itinerary and knew He would be com-ing through the streets on that day. But whenshe got out there, she found a large crowdpressing hard upon Jesus from all sides. Allshe wanted to do was just touch Jesus’clothes, but it didn’t turn out as easy as shemay have thought. Now you may be think-ing, ‘What was so difficult in that? All she hadto do was force her way through the crowd towhere Jesus was’ Let me show you what thelaw said about an issue of blood, so you canappreciate the enormity of the challenge shehad to conquer before she received hermiracle.



“And if a woman have an issue, and her is-sue in her flesh be blood, she shall be putapart seven days: and whosoever touchethher shall be unclean until the even... Andwhosoever toucheth her bed shall wash hisclothes, and bathe himself in water, and beunclean until the even. And whosoevertoucheth anything that she sat upon shallwash his clothes, and bathe himself in wa-ter, and be unclean until even. And if it beon her bed, or on anything whereon shesitteth, when he toucheth it, he shall be un-clean until the even. And if any man lie withher at all, and her flowers be upon him, heshall be unclean seven days; and all the bedwhereon he lieth shall be unclean. And if awoman have an issue of blood, many daysout of the time of her separation (menstrualperiod), or if it run beyond the time of herseparation; all the days of the issue of heruncleanness shall be as the days of her sepa-ration: she shall be unclean. Every bedwhereon she lieth all the days of her issueshall be unto her as the bed of her separa

tion: and whatsoever she sitteth upon shallbe unclean, as the uncleanness of her sepa-ration. And whosoever toucheth those thingsshall be unclean, and wash his clothes andbathe himself in water, and be unclean untilthe even.” (Leviticus 15: 19-27).

According to the law, for thosetwelve years this woman had an issue ofblood, she was labeled unclean, and, was anoutcast in Israel. For twelve years, she wasnot allowed to go to the house of God; no-body was supposed to touch her, or herclothes or anything she sat on. If anyone did,they would be unclean and wouldn’t be al-lowed into the house of God to worship.They would have to go have a bath, washtheir clothes and remain indoors till evening.And if it happened in the evening, theywould have to stay indoors until the eveningof the next day! Now imagine such a womancoming out and mingling with a crowd ofvery religious people.

Let’s read some more of what the law



said:“Command the children of Israel, that theyput out of the camp every leper, and everyone that hath an issue, and whosoever isdefiled by the dead: Both male and femaleshall ye put out, without the camp shall yeput them; that they defile not their camps,in the midst whereof I dwell.” (Numbers5: 2, 3)

“Thus shall ye separate the children of Is-rael from their uncleanness; that they dienot in their uncleanness, when they defilemy tabernacle that is among them.”(Leviticus15:31).

Can you see it now? She stood a greatrisk of getting herself killed because that waswhat the law recommended for such an ac-tion. She had said to herself, ‘I am going totouch Jesus’ clothes and be made whole.’ But ifshe touched Jesus, under the law, Jesus andall those in the crowd that she had madebodily contact with while trying to reachHim (and you can bet there would have

been lots of them) would have become un-clean. She could have been stoned to deathfor doing that. This was good enough rea-son for her to give up the thought of reach-ing Jesus, but she didn’t let it deter her. Sheacted on what she had heard and believed.

When you have said it, go ahead anddo it. She had said, “If I can just touch hisclothes, I shall be whole”, then she went. Butthe odds were against her. It didn’t look pos-sible but she went ahead and did it anyway.

Don’t just sit where you are and say,‘I know if I go to that place, I shall be healed.’,or, ‘if I do this or that...’ and remain whereyou are. Get up and do it. Don’t let your con-dition stop you; don’t let the circumstancesdiscourage you. Let nothing stop you fromreceiving your desire.

Now to the big question; how do youreceive a miracle? You have heard the Word



and believed it, you have voiced your faith,now it’s time to receive.

Let’s look in Mark’s gospel again,

“She had heard the reports concerning Jesus,and she came up behind Him in the throngand touched His garments, For she kept say-ing, If I only touch His garments, I shall berestored to health. And immediately herflow of blood was dried up at the source,and [suddenly] she felt in her body that shewas healed of her [distressing] ailment.”(Mark 5: 27-29 - AMP).

The Bible tells us that her flow ofblood dried up, at the source. Now she couldhave thought to herself that the flow onlystopped temporarily. The fact that she hadan issue of blood didn’t mean she was drip-ping blood every moment of the day. If thiswere the case, she would have bled to deathin those twelve years. The flow occurredfrom time to time. So she could have con

vinced herself that this was one of such timeswhen the flow of blood stopped temporarily.She could have told herself, “Well, right nowI am not feeling it, but I better not get tooexcited just yet. Let me get home and watchit for a while, then I’ll know if I’m reallyhealed” No! That’s not the way to receive.People have lost their healing that way be-cause they did not accept its reality. Theywere asking doubtfully, “Is this true; have Ireally been healed?” We must understand thatdivine healing is spiritual. It must thereforebe obtained through spiritual principles.

Sometimes, when a miracle takesplace, you feel the power of God flowingthrough you. That feeling is almost inde-scribable. You just notice that somethingsupernatural is happening within you. Jesus taught us to do that in the Bible.

“And he came to Nazareth where he hadbeen brought up: and as his custom was, hewent into the synagogue on the sabbath day,and stood up for to read. And there wasdelivered unto him the book of the prophetEsaias. And when he had opened the book,he found the place where it was written, TheSpirit of the Lord is upon me, for he hathanointed me to preach the gospel to the poor;he hath sent me to heal the broken-hearted,to preach deliverance to the captives and

When Jesus read this scripture, Hewas actually quoting what Isaiah had saidabout himself (Isaiah 60: 1-3), but He didn’tjust stop at reading it out to the hearing ofthe people in the synagogue that day. Hewent on to appropriate it to Himself. He saidto them, “This day is this scripture fulfilledin your ears” (Luke 4:21). What Jesus didwas to enter into the Word that had beenspoken of Him. Remember He said “I come(In the volume of the book it is written ofme,) to do thy will, O God.” (Hebrews 10:7).

When you receive your healing, tellit. Don’t say, “I want to watch it for sometime and be sure it’s real”. No, tell it imme-diately! When God heals you, be eager to tellit. This is the way to keep it. You receive itby faith and keep it by telling it.

This is what Jesus did for the womanwith the issue of blood. She had received amiracle and was trying to sneak away un-noticed, but He knew she could lose her heal-ing, so He asked, “Who touched me?” Hewas kind and compassionate to her. Hedidn’t fish her out just because He wantedher to know she could not be hidden. He

knew if He let her go away, two or threedays later, she would probably be saying, “Ithought I was healed but I guess I wasn’t.”

If you don’t like to share your testi-mony publicly, learn from this woman. Tell-ing her testimony was at the risk of her ownlife because, according to the law she wasunclean. And before her healing she hadmade several people in that crowd uncleanwhile trying to reach the Lord. But she didn’tthink of telling Him secretly, she declared itbefore Jesus and all the people!

If someone else had not shared hertestimony, it’s possible this woman wouldnot have heard. And someone else wouldhear hers and also have faith. Not sharingyour testimony is the wrong attitude. That’snot the way to keep a miracle you receive

from God. If you want to keep your miraclethen do what Jesus made this woman do.

She told the whole story. She didn’tsay, “Well, it was something terrible, that’sall I can say about it, but thank God, I’mhealed now”. She didn’t hide the details fromanybody. She told Jesus and all the peoplethere “…for what cause she had touched himand how she was healed immediately”

“And he said unto her, Daughter, be of goodcomfort: thy faith hath made thee whole, goin peace.” (Luke 8: 48).

When you share your testimony, youare affirming what God has done in you by

faith, and that confirms your healing. Thatfaith restores you to wholeness, which ismore than just the healing. When you aremade whole, anything and everything thatyou had lost as a result of a sickness is re-stored to you.

Also, through your testimony, God’sName is magnified. When that woman tes-tified to the healing power of God, little didshe know that so many years and genera-tions later, her testimony would still be pro-ducing faith in people. As you tell your tes-timony, many more lives are blessed as theirfaith is strengthened to receive their heal-ing. This opens the way for God to domightier things in your life.

what you see or feel. Keep talking about yourmiracle. Keep saying, “I was healed; and if Iwas healed then, I’m still healed now!” Thedevil may try to show his face by bringingsome symptoms into your body, but you mustinsist that what you have received from Godis still yours.

It’s the same for salvation. Keep say-ing that you are saved. Don’t say you arestill working on it because you are not. Youhave received Christ into your life. Maintainthat confession. Keep talking about your sal-vation; keep telling people about your newlife in Christ. Don’t say anything negativeto what you have received. The Lord JesusHimself said,

“…by thy words thou shall be justified, andby thy words thou shall be condemned.”(Mathew 12:37).

“For with the heart man believeth unto righ-teousness, and WITH THE MOUTH CON-FESSION IS MADE UNTO SALVATION.”



(Romans 10:10).

Confession is speaking the samething with God. It means that you declarethat the same Spirit which raised up Christfrom the dead dwells in you and gives lifeto your body. As you speak God’s Wordabout your body that way, an atmosphereof health remains within and around you.Not only will your general health improveas a result, it will also bring you into God’sbest for you, which is DIVINE HEALTH.

“...Resist the devil, and he will flee fromyou.” (James 4:7b).

Reject all negative thoughts. Insteadfill your mind with thoughts of life and heal-ing. If you think defeat, you will be defeated;if you think health, you will walk in divinehealth. Choose health and live in it.

‘You were not healed afterall, stop fool-ing yourself, can’t you see that you are feelingthe same way as before?’ Thoughts like thesemay sometimes come to you. Such thoughtsare not from God, neither are they yourthoughts. They are from the devil and that’swhen you must put your foot down and say,



“No way, I am a child of God, I have re-ceived divine health and it’s in me now. ”You keep insisting on what you’ve got.

After you have received your miracle,don’t expect the devil to go back and foldhis hands saying, “Well, I was just tryingyou with sickness, I’m happy for you nowthat you are healed”. Don’t expect him tothink that way. He has tried to keep youbound in sickness and has succeeded at itall this while until you received your heal-ing. He wouldn’t just let you be and go hisway, rejoicing that you have been healed.He’s going to put up a fight! He will comeback playing every trick he knows to stealthat healing from you. He would throw hissymptoms at you. That’s the devil’s chiefestmeans of a counter-attack.

A symptom is a lying dart of thedevil. It is not the sickness in itself, but a sign

of its presence. Symptoms in themselves arenot anything, but they point you to some-thing. When you tell a doctor you are sick ofsomething or are feeling certain pains, hestarts looking for signs that will point him towhat the sickness is. If, for instance, youwant to go to a Church you’ve never beenbefore, you look out for the signboard of theChurch that will point you to where it is.You will be kidding to find that sign and stayby it and tell yourself, “Yes, I’m now inChurch”. You have not arrived there yet.The signboard is not the Church; it merelypoints you to where the Church is.

The devil knows how to play trickswith signs. He may put them all around yourbody, one in your eye, another in your leg orin your head, and all those symptoms seemto point to the return of that sickness. Themoment you say, “Oh, I’ve got the sickness”,that’s when the devil really gets you, becausethe sickness actually comes from yourwords, not from the signs.

Those symptoms are just like a mi



rage. So you must refuse to acknowledgethem when they come. In fact you can laughat the devil and tell him, “Devil, you are aloser, I know you are lying with all of yoursymptoms, now get out of here, leave mybody in Jesus’ Name!” Shake that thing offin the Name of Jesus!

Don’t be afraid of symptoms. Whenyou feel one, don’t say,

“That’s the way I used to feel when that sick-ness was on me”. That’s just a feeling and wewalk by faith, not by sensory perception (2Corinthians 5: 7).

Did you ever hear that Jesus curseda fig tree? He said to the fig tree, “...No maneat fruit of thee hereafter for ever...”(Mark11: 14). The disciples saw Jesus talking tothe tree and they heard what He said, butthe tree looked just the same as they wenton their way. But the Bible says,“And in the morning, as they passed by,they saw the fig tree dried up from the

roots. And Peter calling to remembrance,saith unto him, Master, behold the fig treewhich thou cursedst is withered away. AndJesus answering saith unto them, Have faithin God.” (Mark 11: 20-22)

Every tree receives life from its roots;so that’s the right place to curse it. Jesuscursed that tree but it looked the samethough it was dead from the roots. When asickness is rebuked or commanded to die, itdies from its roots, the very life of it. You maystill feel some pain, the swelling may still looklike it’s there, but the life of it is gone. Itssource has been destroyed and it cannot con-tinue. It’s just the same as when you switchoff a fan. For a few moments the blades stillrotate, but it cannot continue because it’sbeen cut off from its source of current.

You are the only one that can makethat sickness return by saying, ‘I thought Iwas healed, but I don’t think so any more’ Sodon’t say that; rather, say, ‘That sickness hasbeen cursed to die and it remains dead!’



The Bible tells us, “They that observelying vanities forsake their own mercy.”(Jonah 2:8). Your health is your mercy, don’tforsake it by observing symptoms for theyare lying vanities.

Remember, you are not healed be-cause you don’t feel the pains any more, butbecause God’s Word declares “…by whose(Jesus’) stripes ye were healed” (1 Peter 2:24).

When you were born, you were‘lame’. You may never have heard it this waybefore, but think about it, and you will agreeit’s true. You didn’t start walking all overthe place the moment you came out of yourmother’s womb. You were actually lamewhen you came out because you couldn’twalk. If you were born among people thatnever walked or were never taught to walk,you probably would never have walked inyour life. Somebody had to teach you andhelp you: you watched other people whowere walking and you began to act like themand they taught you to walk.

When you receive a miracle, keepacting the faith that brought you that miraclein the first place. Keep acting your believ-ing, keep doing it. If you can take four stepstoday, try five tomorrow. Just keep doing itand while you’re doing it, you say, ‘I amwalking in the Name of Jesus, the strength ofGod is in me. I can do all things through Christ

As a child of God you’ve been calledout of the world. Don’t go back to sin. Sin isthe devil’s tool for bringing people into bond-age and death. “For the wages of sin isdeath;...” (Romans 6: 23). You may ask,“What if I sin?” If you do, God will forgiveyou, but don’t deliberately go back to sin.Don’t make a habit of sinning.

Jesus said to the man He healed atthe pool of Bethesda, “...See, you are well!Stop sinning or something worse may hap-pen to you.” (John 5:14 Amplified Trans-lation).

This lets you know that living anunholy life can lead you into a conditioneven worse than the one you were healedfrom. But by being in the right environment,you can establish your dominion over sin

and live a godly life. The Bible instructs inProverbs 1: 10, “If sinners entice thee, con-sent thou not” and also tells us that evil com-munication corrupts good manners (1Corinthians 15:33). So don’t move among thewrong folk. Get among God’s people. In theKingdom, we have a different kind ofbehaviour and language. There are thingswe just don’t say or do as Christians. Theyare too dirty for us to be involved with. Ifyou go back to the world, where they talk,act and think dirty, you’re going to live thatway again and give the devil an opening inyour life. So “...come out from among them,and be ye separate…” (2 Corinthians 6:17).

If you don’t have Christian friends,it’s time to make some. You don’t even haveto tell your old friends off. Just make newones among Christians and the old ones willeither come along with you into Christ, orstay away from you. You just wouldn’t seethem again. Those who will come to you willdo so because they believe your testimony.

This is also very important, becausein the Church, the Holy Spirit ministers toHis children. Being in God’s presence canbe likened to the sun. Everybody receivesfrom it whatever they want. Some wantheat, some want light, others want someother energy. Whatever it is they want, thesun shines and they all receive from it. Now,when you come into the Church, the Spiritof God answers your questions and bringsthoughts to your mind. Sometimes you maynot immediately need those thoughts, butsooner or later they become relevant andapplicable to your life.

Do you know that you really do notsee a blessing with your optical eyes? Youonly see the results. The Holy Spirit blessesyou when you are in the Church. This is whyyou must regularly attend Church services,don’t miss them. The teaching, the praise,worship, and prayers all serve to communi

cate the presence of God and something al-ways happens where God’s presence is;where the Holy Spirit is working.

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it isfor brethren to dwell together in unity!.. forthere the LORD commanded the blessing,even life forever more.”(Psalm 133:1,3).

Then He also cleanses you as you lis-ten to the Word in Church. God’s Word pu-rifies your heart. The wrong thoughts leaveyou and all the stains of sin in your life arestripped away. The Holy Spirit washes yourspirit clean with the Word (Titus 3: 5;Ephesians 5: 26), and by the time you aregetting up to leave Church, you have becomeso pure in your heart and ready to face theworld again.

Ephesians 6: 18 says, “Praying always withall prayer and supplication in the Spirit, andwatching thereunto with all perseveranceand supplication for all saints;”

Let me tell you this: if there is any-thing you should know in this life, it is theword of God. Learn God’s Word for your-self through the help of the Holy Spirit.Crave the Word, go for it more than any-thing in this whole wide world.

It’s only through the Word you canknow that God’s will is for you to live in di-vine health, or else the devil will keep you insickness or even kill you. By studying God’sWord, your mind becomes renewed, thenyou begin to think and talk like God.

”We having the same spirit of faith, accord-ing as it written, I believed, and thereforehave I spoken; we also believe, and there-fore speak;”(2 Corinthians 4:13).

Get acquainted with all of God’s willthrough the word. Spend quality time study-ing God’s Word so you can be adequatelyinformed. You may ask, ‘What are the things
