How to setup OSU exchange email on an android device.

This guide will walk you through setting up

your OSU email on an android device. There

are several different versions of android oper-

ating systems that are currently being used.

Each version can be slightly different. If you

have problems or need help, please contact

your DASNR IT Support Specialist.

1. On the android device, navigate to your

apps menu.

2. Find and select the Settings icon.

3. In the Settings menu, find and choose Ac-

counts.

4. Choose Add Account.

5. From the list of account types,

choose Microsoft Exchange Ac-

tiveSync (could also be named Cor-

porate, Exchange, or Outlook.)

6. Enter your full OSU email address

and password, then click next.

7. Click OK on the remote security ad-

ministration popup. (this message

may be worded differently; howev-

er, it must be approved for your

email to work on your device.)

8. After a few seconds, the settings page

should appear. You will want to remove

the check mark from the Sync Contacts

option. If you do not remove the check,

it will add your email contacts into your

phone contacts easily doubling your

phones contacts. All other default

settings should be fine. Click Next.

9. If you would like you can rename the ac-

count, Click Done.

Your email is now setup and you should

start receiving emails shortly. If you have
