DESCRIPTION

http://bit.ly/ExcelSecretsForProductivity - enroll into my Excel course on Udemy and learn more great tips. I am going to show you how you can turn a group of Excel cells (a table) into an image (a picture) in Excel. 1. First you need to select your group of cells, right click and copy them. THE NEXT STEP IS VERY IMPORTANT. 2. Your cursor needs to be over another picture – in my example it’s a map of the USA. 3. Right click and click ‘Paste’. Excel creates an image (picture of your group of cells). 4. Now you can grab it and drag it to the location where you want it to appear over your other picture (the map of the US in my case). You can treat it as any other picture. In my case I want a white background so I can see the numbers better. 5. I right click my picture of the Excel table, choose ‘Format Object’, choose ‘Fill’, ‘Solid Fill’ and white color. The background of my Excel table image turns white. I can now re-size it, rotate it anyway I want, drag it into any location over the map, etc. It’s a very neat trick, I discovered it by accident while working on one of my projects several years ago. I hope it will serve you well too. Enjoy! Larissa
