Step 1
Log into twitter and click on the ‘me’ tab.
Your page should still look the same.
Click on the gear symbol on the top right panel and select ‘settings’
On the left hand panel Select ‘design’
scroll down the page till you get to ‘customize your own’

Once your image uploads you’ll be able to adjust the size using the slider
Once you are happy with the image size, click save and go back to the ‘me’ tab
It might take a few attempts to get the positioning right
