DawsoneraDawsonera is one of the two online resources for all City and Islington College electronic books, ‘ebooks’. Below are instructions to help get you started.

Please note: you must create a Dawsonera account to take advantage of all the features.The City and Islington College Dawsonera can be accessed via the student portal, my.candi (http://my.candi.ac.uk) and clicking the ‘My Library’ link and the ‘E Books’ icon on the left side column.

Click the Dawsonera icon:

A new window will open. Click ‘Accept’ at the bottom of the page:

Once in the Dawsonera website, you can perform a Quick Search…

…or you can search by keyword, full-text, publisher, or author by choosing Advanced Search.

To read a book just click on ‘Read Online’:

In order to take advantage of features like note taking, copying and printing, you need to create an account. To create an account you must first logout

Then click on ‘Register here’

Fill in your details and click ‘Save’

Now log back in and enjoy Dawsonera!
