my website?
How can I improve my
website's speed?
What blog content do my visitors like the
most?
Google Analytics can answer it
all….
Now let’s start on how to get
Google Analytics
on your very OWN WEBSITE
How to install Google Analytics?
First Step…
You need to have a Google
Analytics Account
Do you have a primary Google
accounts?
This account may be your Gmail, Google Drive or Calendar, etc.
Yes! Then that’s great because
you can now set up Google
Analytics using that accounts
or if the answer is NO…you need
to create one
Just a reminder!
The Google account you
should use must be the one that
you will keep FOREVER and
only YOU have an access
Yes, you can grant access to
your
web designer, web developer, web host, SEO
staff, etc.
but you don’t want them to
have a full control over it
Because once you part ways
they will take your Google
Analytics data with them
and you will have to start all over
Setting up Google Analytics is FREE
Go to: analytics.google.c

Google Analytics offers
hierarchies to organize your
account
You can have up to 100 Google
Analytics accounts under one Google
account
You can add up to 100 GA accounts
and up to 50 website
properties under one Google
Analytics account
and 25 views under one
website property
Sample Situations:
Situation 1: 1 website=1
Google Analytics =1 website property
Situation 2: 2 website (1 personal
& 1 business)=1 Google Analytics for
each =1 website property for each
Situation 3: several website but
less than 50 (for each business)=1 Google Analytics
account
Situation 4: several website each of them has dozens of websites, for a total of more than
50 for each business
= 1 Google Analytics account
per business
there is no limit or right nor
wrong in setting up GA
it’s a matter on how you organize
your account
you can always rename your
account anytime
BUT you can't move a property
(website) from one Google Analytics
account to another
You would have to set up a new property under
the new account
and lose the historical data you collected
from the original property
For this illustration, we will have one website and
only need one view (the
default), all data view
The setup would look something
like this!
