Tp-Link Router did not worked well

with EVO and Nitro and people got

annoyed with its performance.And

they requested me to show

Mikrotik to get rid of 3G Routers.So

my todays topic is the use of Evo/Nitro/3G modem with Mikrotik. Lets start

Evo/Nitro/3G modem with MikrotikConnect your Evo/Nitro/3G modem with Mikrotik and restart Mikrotik to take the settings.

You will see a new entry in Interface with the name PPP_Client1. Goto Interfaces and delete the PPP_Client1 and

click on Down arrow with plus sign.

Select PPP Client.


A new menu will pop up.

In General tab,Select the port where your 3G modem is connected.

Used for Cisco's Unified Computing System Powered by Intel Xeon.


In PPP Tab,Click on advanced mode to get all the options visible.

Here,you have to enter your username and password provided by your Internet service provider.

(I am doing settings for Ptcl Evo and using the username and password for Ptcl Evo. You should use the

username and password provided by your Internet Service Provider. )

Phone: #777

Dial Command: ATDT

User: [email protected]

Password: ptcl

Un check Dial on Demand,Add default route,Use Peer DNS.

Keep Alive Timeout: 0.

Press apply and Ok.

When you see connected status,its means you are connected successfully.


Now go to Ip and set your DNS.

Then Go to IP >Routes to add default gateway.

In Default gateway Tab,select PPP_out1.

Modem Hsdpa ADSL Modem UMTS Modem Modem PC


You are done..You have successfully connected your Evo/Nitro/3G Modem with Mikrotik.

Now goto tools > Ping and ping to google.com to check your internet connectivity.

mae bataen.

mae ny Sir jahanzaib sy rabta kia tha aur pocha tha keh mujhy aik tower chahye 90-100

feet ka. kia koi company ya private shop keeper yeh bana dy ga? agar woh hamaen cheap

parta ha to khud sy karny ki bajay mae un sy banwa lon ga. ap mujhy is ky bary mae guid

karaen.

Lekin router Wingle ko pick hi nai kar raha.

Koi solution bata sakte hain aap?

bhai.mera pass evo 9.3 wingle hai, ma village ma rehta ho, aur wo city sa 15 km door hai.

ma na evo ka anteena laga rakha hai, pr sirf 2 signals ata hn, kia karo ka signal barh jain.

bhai grid anteena best hai ya evo ka apna anteena.?plz plz reply .

A.A adeel bhai mein ptcl ka modem use kar raha hoon aur is ky wifi ky sath mein ny tp link

500g client mode pr set ki hai aur behtreen working kar rahi hai. but yeh repeater mode

par configer nahi ho rahi is ka kia hal hai kia dsl ptcl ki setting chang karni ho gi.
