Warm-Up

• Draw a story board for a chapter selected by your teacher.

• You will present this to the class with your group

• Focus on the main ideas of the chapter, don’t spend too much time drawing and brainstorming.

Dumbledore and Hagrid (The Letters for No One)• Harry Potter is told about Hogwarts and his

parents as well as Voldemort by Hagrid. (The Letters for No One)

Groups

• Gryffindor• Hufflepuff• Slytherin• Ravenclaw• Each group should have no less then 4

and no more than 6

Literature Circle

• Complete the activities and submit the work into Edmodo under Lit. Circle 1

• Put your hand up if you have any questions

• You are being examined on understanding and ability to complete the tasks with your group

Cool Down

• Design an interesting Symbol for any of the Hogwarts Student dorms.

• The name must be the same, but you can change the colour choices and shape/animal if you like.
