It is one of the most active Chambers of Commerce in India and has been instrumental in promoting number of institutions in Pune. The Chamber renders services to the industry through its 30 committees consisting of reputed experts, professionals and entrepreneurs through strategic planning, sending memorandum to Government on policies, regulations, organizing educative events and symposiums for members.

The HRD Committee of MCCIA provides a platform for networking and knowledge sharing between members through interactive events, write-ups and training programs relating to Human Resource Development topics and initiatives with a view to develop HR perceptions of members to enlighten them to enhance their ability to forge ahead in the competitive world.

Over the years, highly skilled and knowledge based jobs are increasing while low skilled jobs are decreasing. This calls for future skill mapping through proper HRM initiatives.
