Events at The GC
One Stop Program for Incoming Ph.D. Students
The One Stop Program for incoming Ph.D. students will be
held at The Graduate Center from August 20 - August 22,
2018 - Concourse Level C. One Stop has been developed to
assist students with questions, required paperwork, and
enrollment procedures. One Stop is a single location where
multiple university administrative services are available for
incoming students. The program details are provided here.

Retirement Inquiries
A reminder that every third Wednesday of the month (10:00am-1:00pm, 3:00pm-5:00pm)
is the designated day for all retirement-related inquiries. To meet with the Benefits Officer
on this day, please email [email protected] and include “Retirement Inquiry” in the subject
line.
Important Reminders
Annual Evaluations for College Assistant Staff are Due May 18, 2018
College Assistant annual evaluations have been distributed to departments and must be
returned to the Office of Human Resources. The evaluation form for College Assistant staff can
be viewed here.
Annual Evaluations for Classified Managerial and Civil Service Staff are Due June 8, 2018
Classified managerial and civil service annual evaluations have been distributed to departments
and must be returned to the Office of Human Resources. The evaluation form for classified
managerial staff can be viewed here and for civil service staff here.
Four-Day Workweek Begins on June 25, 2018
The Graduate Center will participate in the Four-Day Workweek Program from June 25, 2018
through Friday, August 10, 2018. The six Fridays included are: June 29, July 13, July 20, July 27,
August 3, and August 10.
The Independence Day holiday will be observed on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. During that week,
staff will have four regular un-extended workdays on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
(July 2 - July 6).

Recent Events
On April 23, 2018, The Graduate Center held the 26th annual Employee Recognition Ceremony where staff were recognized for their many years of service and commitment to the School. Ann Marie Doering, Marilyn Weber, Charmain Sanjamino, and Meghan Hughes received an Outstanding Achievement award for their contributions and enthusiasm for The Graduate Center and its students, faculty, and staff. President Chase Robinson presented Jimmy Cok with the Employee of the Year award for his exceptional professionalism, customer service skills, and ability to take initiative.
