Responsibility 1: Manpower requirement
Coordinate with the other depts to ensure the manpower gap analysis, prepare re-
ports and send requirements to the Corporate office for approval to induct manpower
for various posts.
Responsibility 2: Drafting advertisements
Drafting the advertisement for the vacancies available incorporating all the job
requirements, qualifications, statutory compliances, reservations etc and coordinat-
ing with C & PR for release in the various newspapers for communication. The ads
are usually drafted for the post of Artisans, Lateral Engineers, Medical Professionals
& Paramedical Staff & any other as per Corporate Office guidelines.
Responsibility 3: Application processing
Receive, segregate & scrutinize the applications based on the job requirements as per
Circulars and / or Ads and prepare a database, synopsis for further processing.
Responsibility 4: Elimination test coordination
Coordinate with various agencies for conducting elimination tests like written test
based on the no of applicants against the sanctioned vacancies, coordinate evaluation,
prepare a merit list and shortlist candidates for further stages of selection.
Responsibility 5: Interview coordination
Set up committee for interview and provide logistics for the conduction of the inter-views, process & announce the results and communicate to the selected candidates
Responsibility 6: Joining formalities
Ensure compliance of medical standards, documents and other requirements before
inducting the candidate to the unit,
Responsibility 7: Manpower allocation
Coordinate with the other departments, analyze manpower gaps & recommend place-
ment of the newly inducted candidates to various departments
Responsibility 8: MIR preparation
Prepare and send various monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly reports to various
agencies

Preparation of various rosters related to Artisans, Supervisors, Medical Professionals

Ensuring involvement of key stakeholders like inter function, interdepartmental em-
ployees, union representatives wherever required in different platforms, forums to
address issues, discuss & deliberate them & resolve the issues raised to improve prod-
uct, process & service quality.

Ensuring compliance to the Statutory & regulatory Norms & extend adequate support
& assistance to the concerned function, departments & sections to abide by the requi-
site standards.

Conceptualize, plan, execute, analyze, review & refine strategies for empowering em-ployees at operational & middle level within Function to develop competent, effective
