Annual Fund Appeal

Report

2722 Henry St. Sheboygan, WI

Our School. Our Children. Our Future.

Your Investment.

The Christ Child Academy Annual Fund is our schools most important giving priority. Your participation is critical and reflects your

belief in all that happens here . Your gifts, large and small, make possible the enhanced resources and programs that make

each student’s education unique and powerful.

Your gift provides a critical bridge between tuition revenue and the actual cost of running the school, offering relief to the oper-

ating budget and directly affecting students, faculty and numerous programs that align with our mission. Most importantly, gifts,

regardless of the size, allow our leadership to respond to Christ Child Academy’s most pressing financial concerns and provide

the flexibility to seize unique and important opportunities.

All CCA families and community members are asked to support the Annual Fund. Gifts are tax-deductible as allowed by law. This

year, we were fortunate to be the recipient of a Matching Grant from the Meehan Family Foundation of $25,000. Your contribu-

tions and support made that Matching Grant a reality!

It is evident that exemplary academics and faith-filled education are important to our school families and parishioners. We are

the proud alma mater of 21 valedictorians in the past 14 years! To have a foundation outside of our community support us,

speaks volumes about the value that others see, as well.

Thank you to all who shared with us your gifts of prayer and financial contributions. Your investment in our children and their

future is most appreciated.

In this fiscal year July 1, 2016 to June 30,2017 we have achieved the following, with your support of our Annual Fund Appeal and

other Development initiatives:

Raised $38,000 at our Annual Winter Extravaganza, the schools largest fund-raiser of the year.

Added donations to our newly established Guardian Angel Fund totaling almost $24,000 for families facing unexpected and

critical short term financial challenges.

Recognized graduating high school seniors at our Second Annual Recognition Mass.

Celebrated five 2017 Valedictorians from Sheboygan South High School.

Distributed nine Hasselhofer-Wolf Scholarships at Sheboygan South High School to CCA Class of 2013 members.

Built relationships with several corporate and family foundations that support Catholic education and initiatives (as well as

the Greater Milwaukee Foundation).

Collaborated with the Hren Foundation to offer tuition assistance based on financial need.

Secured a matching $25,000 grant from the Meehan Family Foundation for this years Annual Fund Appeal .

Purchased 50 Chrome books for students, keeping them abreast of ever changing technology, from individual donors and

also from the Fund A Need at the Winter Extravaganza.

Held our first-ever Annual Donor Appreciation event last October.

Grew our Preschool programs, potentially increasing our future K-8 enrollment.

Began Gym Remodel Project in June and completed in August.
