24-hour Emergency Home Assistance†

In case of any emergency, we will take care of your repair bills of up to S$150 per visit, up to a maximum of five times a year. Our emergency home assistance services include:

* The HSBC home assistance and referral services (“ the Services” ) are provided by IPA Singapore Pte Ltd. Neither HSBC Bank (Singapore) Limited nor any of its subsidiaries or affiliates shall be responsible for any loss or damages arising from your use of the Services. You agree that IPA Singapore Pte Ltd shall not be liable for (1) any indirect or consequential losses; or (2)any injury, loss or damage sustained by reason of IPA Singapore Pte Ltd’s referral of or contract w ith a service provider or other determination resulting therefrom.† An emergency is defined as a sudden and unforeseen event inside the home that poses a threat to the safety of the residents or when an immediately unacceptable living condition has been created w ithin the home and as a result, where the attendance required to the situation is immediate or w ithin the day, or at the latest, the follow ing day when the call is made after 10 pm the night before. A minimum attendance fee of S$30 is chargeable to the customer should the service provider indicate that the situation is not covered as defined above. Any breakdow n ofelectrical appliances/leakage of air-conditioning units or pipes shall not be considered as emergency repairs. All spare parts replacement is not included under this benefit.‡ Roof leakage is not included under this service.¶ For termite infestation, the service does not cover recurring termite infestation.* * Referral contacts w ill include company name, address, telephone number and operating hours (if available). All fees or charges incurred for services engaged under the referral services w ill

be at your own cost.
