Food distribution is much higher than expected, averaging about 3,000 meals a weekStaff COVID-19 work exposure incident--HS admin team worked with MDH to ensure we followed appropriate procedures. 13 staff were quarantined for 14 days. No additional staff fell ill. School took over cautious measures of closing the building (this was not necessary, according to the guidelines) and quariantining 2 staff who had been in the bldg. but had no content with patient (also not necessary--current guidelines are direct contact for over an hour).Short term succession plan--see below.Tablet collection--HS Admin. discussed the idea of not collecting HS tablet until fall. Board recommended tablets are collected and assessed for damage before distribution for the July 13-31 summer school.Staff, parents, students Insight micro-surveys going out mid-May for feedback on DL plan implementation--this will be good qualitative data for program evaluation

ADD: Summer School PlanShort Term DL 2.0 Succession/Emergency Plan/If ED is not able to perform her duties:

Brick and Mortar

1. School Directors run school as a single shop; SDs lean into the day to day at each site keeping students at the core of the program

2. HR Manager becomes the “glue” or district spokesperson, with help from Outreach and Support Services Coordinators, ad hoc for any K-8 crisies or pressing initiatives

3. If period is longer than 12 weeks, suggest appointing an interim ED

DL

1. Each of the 4 team leads would continue running their individual component of the plan and meet weekly keeping students at the core of the program

2. If we continue with DL after 7/1/20, Outreach Coordinator would be assigned to Food Distribution and Support Services Coordinator would be assigned to Communications

3. More than a 12 weeks readjust plan

20-21 Organization ChartED presented entire HS organization org chart, which will be shared with staff in all staff zoom meeting May 14, 2020QComp Goals Revision Suggestion:Old goals were: $1600 for Formal Observation individual performance ($800 and $800); $1200 for PLC Goal (usually NWEA $600 and $600) and $1200 for District Goal (MCA driven $600 and $600)Suggested Revised Goals, based on MDE guidance:

Goal one: Teacher performance (formal observations )

● Bonus amount: up to $2,000 total (This is all the QCOMP $$)● Same qualifications (average score of 3.0 or higher on at least 2 observations,

spring observation - no 1s can be received)

Goal two: Distance learning attendance

● Bonus amount: up to $800 total● 90% K-8 attendance for distance learning (phones calls and/or student work);

weeks 1 and 2 we are at 96% for this goal

Rationale: Financial struggles of staff; honors the work they’ve done in DL for all 38 together; strong data reasons to give each goal; increasing the teacher performance goal reinforces that this is important--it’s their actual work/performance

The max is less (from 4000$ to 2800$) but there’s more potential to meet both.
