GREEK LIFE at HENDERSON
Greek Life at Henderson has a long history of scholarship and community
service. Henderson Greeks have raised an estimated $10,500 for local and
national charities. They have performed more than 2,500 hours of
community service to Henderson, Arkadelphia and the state. Greek chapters
have volunteered with the American Cancer Society, Arkadelphia Boys and
Girls Club, Arkadelphia Family Enrichment Center, Arkadelphia Public
Schools, Arkansas Children’s Hospital; Autism Speaks, Clark County
Humane Society, Courage House, Habitat for Humanity, Heifer Project
International, HSU Alumni Services, March of Dimes, Ronald McDonald
House, Trinity Temple Church and the United Negro College Fund, among
others.

NORTH-AMERICAN INTERFRATERNITY CONFERENCE
Founded in 1909, the North-American Interfraternity Conference is the trade
association representing 75 International and National Men's Fraternities.
The NIC serves to advocate the needs of its member fraternities through enrichment of the
fraternity experience; advancement and growth of the fraternity community; and enhancement
of the educational mission of the host institutions.
Today, the NIC has 75 member organizations with approximately 5,500 chapters located on
800+ campuses in the United States and Canada with approximately 350,000 undergraduate
members.

NATIONAL PANHELLENIC CONFERENCE
The National Panhellenic Conference is the premier advocacy and support organization for
the advancement of the sorority experience.
The National Panhellenic Conference provides support and guidance for its 26 member
inter/national sororities/women’s fraternities and serves as the national voice on contemporary
issues of sorority life.
Founded in 1902, NPC is one of the oldest and largest women’s membership organizations
representing more than 4 million women at 655 college/university campuses and 4,500 local
alumnae chapters in the U.S. and Canada.

NATIONAL PAN-HELLENIC COUNCIL
The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) is a collaborative organization of nine
historically African American, international Greek lettered fraternities and sororities. NPHC
promotes interaction through forums, meetings and other mediums for the exchange of
information and engages in cooperative programming and initiatives through various activities
and functions.
The NPHC was formed as a permanent organization on May 10, 1930 on the campus
of Howard University, in Washington, D.C.NPHC was incorporated under the laws of
the State of Illinois in 1937.
