A total of 33 were returned, meaning that each response equates to 3%. Thank you to all of you who returned a survey, your responses are greatly appreciated. WINTER BECKONS It will soon be the time of year that the grass becomes crisp and the roads become icy. Please ensure that your child has a coat, hat and gloves available to enable them to keep warm during playtimes and lunchtimes. Also, please take care in the car park as conditions underfoot do become rather difficult. This half term has flown by and I’d like to thank you all for your continued support. The children were absolutely brilliant during the cinema trip on Monday and were an absolute credit to you all. We have received a lovely card made by the children at The Ormiston Trust thanking everyone for their kind donations during our recent Harvest Festival my thanks also for you generosity. Enjoy the half term break and we look forward to seeing you all on Monday 1 st November. PTFA AUCTION Many thanks to everyone who organised and supported our auction last Saturday. A tremendous amount of hard work was put in to make it such a success. A great time was had by all and initial calculations show that over £3500 profit was made. This will go a long way to ensuring that the PTFA can continue to support all children at the school. IPSWICH TOWN TICKETS If you would like to order discounted tickets (£20 adults, £3 children) for the match against Barnsley on Saturday 13 th November, please collect a booking letter from the school office. Unfortunately, a good result cannot be guaranteed! Films being shown for the rest of this half term… 22 nd October: The Tooth Fairy (PG) finishes 5.10pm Films being shown after half term… 5 th November: Five Children and It (U) finishes 5.00pm 12 th November: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (PG) finishes 5.45pm 19 th November: Ratatouille (U) finishes 5.10pm 26 th November: Street Dance (PG) finishes 5.00pm 3 rd December: The Grinch (PG) finishes 5.00pm We are also looking at the possibility of a family screening of ‘Nativity’ on the evening of Friday 10 th December. All clubs finish at 4.15pm with the exception of KS2 Gymnastics and Dance which finish at 4.30pm. FilmClub finishing time depends on the duration of film being shown. SCHOOL LUNCHES You should have received the latest menu being provided at Earl Soham by Suffolk County Catering. This comes into effect after half term. As of January 2011, the price of a meal will increase to £2.10.
