CONFIGURING THE SYSTEM CLOCK

<testname> clock datetime 12:30:40 2014-03-24<testname> clock timezone UTC+1 add 01:00:00<testname> clock daylight-saving-time UTC+1 one-year 02:00 2014-03-30 03:00 2014-10-2601:00

2. Configure the system clock Configure the UTC time

The system clock is the time indicated by the system timestamp. Because the rules governing local time differ in different regions, the system clock can be configured to comply with the rules of any given region. The system clock is calculated using the following formula: System clock = Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) + Time zone offset + Daylight saving time offset.Setting the system clocks of all the devices on a network manually is time-consuming and cannot ensure the clock accuracy. Network Time Protocol (NTP) can address this problem by synchronizing all clocks of devices on the network so that the devices can provide uniform time-based applications.

Configure the time zone

Configure the daylight saving time (start time, start date, end time, end date and offset)

CONFIGURING A HEADER <testname> system view[testname] header login information #The banner text supports 480 characters max, including the start and the end character. If you want to enter more than this, use banner file instead.Input banner text, and quit with the character '#':Be aware of the dog #[testname] header shell information #The banner text supports 480 characters max, including the start and the end character. If you want to enter more than this, use banner file instead.Input banner text, and quit with the character '#':It rains cats and dogs #[testname]
