1 Product Overview
Introduction
Huawei FDD B2131 (hereinafter referred to as B2131) is an LTE wireless gateway customer premises equipment (CPE), which implements conversion between LTE wireless wide area network (WAN) data and local wired or wireless local area network (WLAN) data. Designed for outdoor deployment, the B2131 is composed of an outdoor unit (ODU) and an indoor unit (IDU).
B2131 complies with 3GPP Release 9 and Category 3 standards, supports wired and wireless network access, and provides the following service functions:

2 Product Application
B2131 is a CPE composed of an IDU and an ODU. The ODU is responsible for LTE communications, and the IDU is responsible for LAN, WLAN, and voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) communications.
The ODU is pole-mounted or wall-mounted outdoors to communicate with the eNodeB. The IDU and ODU are connected using network cables, with power supplied to the ODU by power over Ethernet (PoE).
The IDU provides the following ports:
! Three RJ45 ports: used to connect home terminals, such as the PC and set-top box (STB).
! One RJ11 port: used to connect common analog telephones. ! One USB port: used to identify functions provided by storage devices.
The IDU also provides 2.4G WLAN for wireless network connection.
Figure 2-1 demonstrates B2131 application.

4.1 Data Service Data services apply the LTE technology and comply with IPv4 and IPv6 protocols. In addition, data services support the following functions:
