This quarter we pay our love and respect to

Sean Eric Burroughs

Passed September 29, 2002

For the third quarter newsletter, we honor Sean Eric Burroughs. Sean passed on September 29, 2002. "Sean was killed on a tower collapse in Centralia County Missouri on Oct 29, 2002. He leaves behind a wife and four children, a brother, and a stepbrother and stepsister. His mom and stepfather who are both still living raised him. Sean was an amazing man and a very hard worker that did whatever he needed to do to provide for his family. He is missed very much by all of us.” ---- Elizabeth Burroughs (Sean's Sister in Law)

Sean was a foreman, and part of a four-man crew installing new guy-wire supports (seven sets with three wires each) at the 120-ft level on a 400-ft-high radio tower. The tower began to lean to the north and failed at the joint directly above the newly installed set of guy wires, collapsed, and fell to the ground. Sean was wearing personal fall protection and was tied to the tower at his working level, and was killed.

Making Progress & Still Helping…

I said it last quarter, and it remains that the industry seems a little slower this year, but our dedicated donors and supporters have contributed $34,312.00 so far this year! We have also awarded 11 scholarships as of September and have several more slated by the

end of the year!

GWA will also be supporting us with their Golf Tournament in October of which we are VERY grateful and excited! We will be volunteering at the event, so we hope to see you

there!

We, as always would encourage climbers and their families to support the foundation through direct giving & apparel purchases! If you have new ideas for items, apparel, or

fundraisers, please email Bridgette Hester at [email protected]!

Holiday Shopping will be here soon so don’t forget to sign up at Amazon Smile!

It’s a Hubble Christmas 2015!

If you are interested in helping the families at Christmas this year, please visit the Hubble Foundation Christmas

Wish List at Amazon Smile by clicking the graphic!

Our list isn’t as big as last year, but we have located some families that have been struggling for quite

some time. They have expressed great thanks for us contacting them, and if we can help in some small

way, that would be amazing!

If you order off the list, please make sure that you ship the gifts to the following address! All gifts will be mailed the second week in Decemeber to ensure

arrival for Christmas day!

Thanks To Special Donors….

Art Pregler

We were blessed with a donation from Mr. Art Pregler just after our last newsletter! Mr. Pregler donated a voucher from Connect-It for a free full body harness!

Upon hearing about this, Jacob and our family at Rope + Rescue donated an R+R/Hubble Foundation Bolt Bag

Lite to award as second place!

A raffle was help for approximately two weeks at $5.00 per ticket, where we raised $445.00 for the families!

Our Harness Winner was Mr. Blake Bowers, and our second place winner for the Bolt Bag was Mr. Chris

Beisel!

Thank you to Art Pregler and Rope+Resuce for making this possible!

Wireless Association LOVE…..

Pennsylvania Wireless Golf Tournament!

We also want to give a HUGE shout to Pennsylvania Wireless Association! We received a call from Mario at PWA just after the last newsletter, and he told us that

they had again sponsored us at an event, and because of the golf tournament earlier this year, they had raised $12,000 for Hubble Foundation!

Page 9: Hubble Foundation Third Quarter Newsletter!

Georgia Wireless Association

SPRING CLAY SHOOT!

We would like to give a BIG shout out to Insurance of America (IOA)!!! We went to the GWA golf tournament where we were a beneficiary of the tournament. While there,

we hung out with our good friends at IOA! They planned a surprise for us, and we had NO IDEA. Jason Chester, a nationally top ten-ranked long driver, raised money on

behalf of IOA for Hubble Foundation. To say we were surprised and overwhelmed by their generosity is an understatement! Thanks to all at IOA - Jason Peacock, Bruce

Eades, Dennis Robinson, Jeff Mitchell, Tricia Hushmire, and Pam Miller, and OF COURSE Jason Chester! THANK YOU for your $1700.00 donation! Jason can SMACK a

ball we will have you know!

As we reported last newsletter, GWA supported us with their Spring Clay

Shoot! We thank them greatly for that, and are even more tickled to announce

they have decided to sponsor us at their Golf Tournament in October! We volunteered at the tournament, which

was amazing fun!
