Two very spacious staterooms with private en-suite heads including stall showers. Thestaterooms are ideally located, one forward and one aft, to offer comfortable privacy. Amidshipthe Atlantic 53 offers a 16-foot galley deckhouse arrangement which allows an out of sightgalley without isolating the cook. The deckhouse settee converts into two additional berths, andwith an adjoining powder room this Atlantic model will comfortably accommodate three couplesor a family of six. Up three Steps from the deckhouse is the enclosed bridge deck with thecenter line helm and a companion seat both to port and starboard. There is additional seatingfor 5 or 6 persons aft of the helm. Down three steps aft is a spacious cockpit with ample deckbox storage and deck hatches for engine compartment access. There is a fly-bridge with fullcontrols and seating for two and the helmsman.

The full width galley is located forward in the spacious 16 foot deckhouse. There are householdsize appliances with a GE Spacemaker range and a Maytag 15 cu.ft. refrigerator. Caterpillar 3208 TAs at 375 hp each with Twin Disc MG 507-1 transmissions with 1.51 ratiowere installed by Huckins in 1992. They currently have 1900 hours, and have been maintainedwith annual oil changes and other factory recommended maintenance. Oil analysis reports areavailable for many of the oil changes. These engines have always been serviced by Caterpillaronly! A Norhtern Lights 8 KW generator was also installed in 1992, and the current hours are955. There are two 16,000 btu reverse cycle air conditioning systems, one for the saloon/galley,and one for the forward and aft staterooms. A Fireboy FE241 automatic fire suppression systemin the engine compartment was installed in the Fall 2009.
