Based in Milton Keynes and Reading, Hudson has been serving the Home Coun-ties region for more than 20 years. Making the right hire, whether on a permanent or contract basis, is no longer purely a case of matching someone with a technical specification and job description. It is increasingly leaning towards finding someone with the same cultural aspirations, the same approach to work as the organisa-tion and someone who can add value, not only to a job, but also to the development of a company’s personality.

For employers, the cost of making the wrong hire can be between 3 and 5 times an employee’s annual salary according to the Harvard Business School. while for specialist functions the cost can be up to 10 times their annual salary, meaning the wrong hire can be costly!
