Crooked River Adventures will have kayaks and canoes available to try for free and provide instruction on stand-up padddleboard. Guests are welcome to bring their own boats. Held in the heart of First & Main, Taste of Hudson is a benefirt for Hudson community charities and Akron Children’s Hospital.

Fall Harvest Festival at Case Barlow Farm Sept. 10www.casebarlowfarm.com.Family friendly activities include a rope maze, wagon train rides, crafts and demonstrations, hayrides and pony rides, candle dipping, making butter and traditional games such as a scavenger hunt, bobbing for apples, sack races, 3-legged race, cookie walk, and horseshoes. There will be period music and Civil War era interpreters will be in costume in the kitchen and yard. Noon – 5pm.

Santa on the Green December 2 www.rotaryhudson.org. Ushered into town in a shiny red fire engine, Santa and Mrs. Claus welcome all good girls and boys at the Gazebo on Main St. from 9am – 3pm. Sponsored by Hudson Rotary Club.
