28 CTC Programs Offered

Careerline Tech Center Showcase December 7 6:30-7:30 PM HFC Auditorium

The Careerline Tech Center (CTC) is a service of the Ottawa Area Intermediate School District that we proudly offer to Hudsonville students. CTC provides career education to high school juniors and seniors in which students gain skills and/or prepare for post-secondary education in one of 28 programs.

It is important for freshman students to begin to consider what career areas they might be interested in.

Career exploration helps students choose future classes that they would take as well as the possibility of enrolling in the many programs offered at CTC.

The Freshman Campus is holding a CTC showcase evening again this year allowing students and their parents to come and hear more about CTC and the programs that they have to offer. Here are some of the things you can expect from this showcase:

• Brief presentation followed by Q&A with David Searles, director of CTC

• Message from our very own students attending CTC on their experiences as well as what they would have done differently in 9th grade preparing for it.

• Interactive booths of some of the programs hosted by instructors. This gives you a taste of what students will be doing as well as giving you an opportunity to ask more questions.

Mark your calendar and plan to attend this important evening with your child!
