Friday, July 3, 2020 was a very special day in the family of the

Diocese of Pembroke; on this day The Most Rev. Guy

Desrochers, C.Ss.R., was installed as the chief Shepherd of the

Diocese. We extend a warm welcome, on behalf of the

Parishioners of St. James the Less, Nativity of Our Lady and St.

Ann’s, and we look forward with great anticipation when our

Bishop will make his first Pastoral visit to our parishes.

Your Excellency, we thank you for your “Yes”.

Fr. Ken O’Brien

Evening Prayer

Day is done. The Great Silence has arrived, and I am being held in the

welcoming hands of a God who wants me to rest in peace this night.

Through the shadows of darkness, the peace of Christ surrounds me.

This peace is Jesus’ night prayer for me and I receive it as a gift at

day’s end. Sheltered in the arms of the Holy One, I am filled with

gratitude for the blessings of this day. Cradle me this night that I

might be transformed into a sacred space for those with whom I will

greet the morning light. Amen to the miracles of this day.

Sr. Macrina Wiederkehr, O.S.B.

already prepaid for their pilgrimage will be refunded if they cannot

be present to either one of these projected dates. The projected

dates will depend on the federal, provincial, territorial and public

Health governments’ decisions.
