Use of personal protective equipment by all persons. FWM Risk to general public Y Unauthorised access to the working area by members of the public. Warning notices at access points to woodland. Prohibition notices on work site boundaries. Do not climb on timber stack signs at loading point. FWM Public access Y The woodland is well used by local people throughout the day accessing the site via public rights of way, un-official paths and numerus “desire lines”. Briefing all contractors team to expect continued public use of the woodland. Vigilance by operators at all times for members of the public who will continue to access the woodland. Prohibition notices on un-official paths. Provision of information at Carpark and notice boards advising visitors of restrictions and reasons for operation. All paths to be left clear of debris and rutting after completion of harvesting FWM FWM LO FWM Electricity lines Y National Grid Power lines run adjacent to the Western boundary at significant height above the canopy Brief Operators. FWM Steep / Rocky ground Y The site contains steep sections and rocky outcrops throughout. Brief operators, safe use of machinery or winching on steep ground. Very steep boulder strewn area excluded from sale area as unsafe for tree felling.
