THE AWESOMES is an animated show for adults that combines the thrills of comic book storytelling with the hallmark irreverent and inspired comedy of co-creators Seth Meyers and Mike Shoemaker (Late Night with Seth Meyers). Showcasing the voice talents of current and past SNL stars, THE AWESOMES introduces a group of not-so-super heroes who just might find a way to save the world.

Owned Content The Awesomes Website http://www.theawesomes.com/ Designed to educate users on Hulu’s new original series, the website features engaging video clips of The Awesomes and leverages the broad appeal of Saturday Night Live (SNL) to promote the cast and humor of the show. A custom content management system (CMS) allows Hulu to debut additional videos and episodes, or edit characters, descriptions and gallery images when necessary. The site is fully responsive for mobile and built in HTML5, allowing mobile users the full experience.

The Awesomes Digital Campaign on Distributed Channel The ad campaign featured two different creative looks to support the media strategy. One version of the ads promoted The Awesomes’ great pedigree of cast, while the other educated users on the comedic tone of the show. Seeded editorial content increased awareness of the impending launch and created early buzz for the premiere. High-impact takeovers on BuzzFeed, Cracked, IGN and The Onion featured custom animations to drive excitement for the show among comedy fans and young adults.
