BENEFIT OPEN ENROLLMENT
Benefit Open Enrollment for Healthcare, Dental, Vision, AFLAC and Flexible Spending will be held during the month of May for a July 1 effective date. Please read the separate Benefit Open Enrollment Notice, coming out soon, with additional information, important changes and enrollment dead-line dates. A few items to note are:
The University will be changing its benefit plan year from a fiscal year to a calendar year. As a result, the biweekly, pre-tax employee deduc-tions for health care, dental and vision, for employees working 30+ hours/week, will remain unchanged for the remainder of this calen-dar year!
The University is changing Flexible Spending Administrators from WageWorks to Benefit Strategies effective July 1, 2015. There will be informational and sign-up meetings on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 in the Ochre Court State Dining Room from 11 a.m. – noon and from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. Gerry Charbonneau will also be available during that time with AFLAC information.

United Way Book Drive-Support Community Literacy
Dress Down for Salve - Annual Giving Appreciation
The fourth annual Children’s Book Drive is a collaborative effort between United Way of RI and Books Are Wings to engage local businesses, community organizations, individuals, and families to help foster a love of reading while encouraging children to build their own libraries at home.
The 2015 Book Drive is a statewide effort, from May 1 – June 12, 2015,
to support summer learning and promote reading.
What types of books are being collected?
All new and gently used books for youth of all ages (birth-teen), fiction and nonfiction, in all subject areas are welcome.
Where do I drop them off?
Drop off your books at the HR Dept. - Stonor Hall. Call or email Jessica Gesner with any questions-ext. 2137 or [email protected]

Thanks to all who participated or otherwise came out for Earth Day events this year. We look to make 2016 bigger and better than ever!
With the convergence of Salve Regina’s graduation and the Volvo Ocean Race on the weekend of May 16-17, the time has never been better to start biking, walking, or carpooling to campus. Get a head start on our Green Miles challenge, which will return in the 2015-16 academic year.
