agendas for the ad hoc cluster meeting with all partners

Cluster Feb COB.

4. Cluster Updates 30 mina. Programme updates

MIYCN data: Individual counselling for January and February is at 21% while the group counselling is at 23% for the same period. The meeting raised concerns on the quality of data for individual counselling since the numbers are too high. The high number is attributed to the increased population 2018 and 2019 as reflected in the IPC numbers, a possible large number of returnees. The meeting als asked MIYCN TWG to provide guidance on reporting for; Individual counselling that could be misinterpreted for MIYCN messaging.MIYCN TWG is working on MIYCN registers that could possibly curb the problem of double counting. Since the data is coming in from the program, program managers need to query the data before its submitted to the cluster

The cluster had sent an email to cluster members to update on the 3 Ws but looking on the reporting sites coming through NIS the numbers do not tally.

In total there are 920 OTP and 909 TSFP and 59 SCs across the country. There was a bit of a drop in admissions in OTP in February compared to January which could be attributed to lower sites reporting in February compared to January for OTP. In TSFP though the trends are going up. Compared to same time there is an overall 19% increase in admissions (17% increase in SAM, 15% increase in MAM, and 19% increase for PLW). Could this

2018 consumption report of Malaria RDT has still not been finalised. So far only a third of the numbers supplies have been accounted for. This could affect future supply and is already affecting the supply of mosquito nets even for partners who have already reported

b. Presentation of proposed template for dashboardsThe cluster wants to be sharing a dashboard on CMAM data with partners on monthly basis by county a sample of which was shared in the meeting and it will be shared to partners for inputs

c. Proposed Response Plan for the 16 Priority CountiesThe cluster used the IPC and food security classification to prioritise the counties to be covered. Response will be based on the minimum response package developed in January 2018. The cluster will be monitoring closely in the 16 priority counties; Gap analysis, funding status, Prepositioning of supplies, Coordination with nutrition partners and other partners, bi weekly monitoring if admission and integration with sectors-health, WASH, FSL, Coordination with ERT/MET teams.
