Location of U.A.E.

U.A.E. is located in Asia. It is in the Middle East, in the Arabian Gulf. Every country beside it is Arabic. They are countries like Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, etc. as for the countries bordering it, they are two countries only. They are Saudi Arabia and Oman.

Geographic Features of U.A.E.

United Arab Emirates is almost completely a desert, except for Dubai, which is a really improved city, with great technology and beautiful sky scrapers. On the North of U.A.E. is the Persian Gulf and on the East is the Arabian Sea and Oman. On the West is Qatar and on the South is Saudi Arabia.

Climate of U.A.E.

In the United Arab Emirates, the climate is subtropical. Rain does not occur much there. It only occurs in winter and amounts to 13cm a year only. At winter, the temperature gets to 10 degrees Celsius, but at the summer, it reaches 48 degrees Celsius.

Environment of U.A.E.

In United Arab Emirates, there are many plants, but it is full of palm trees. As for the animals, there are many kinds of them. There is an Arabian leopard, Oryx, sand and mountain gazelles, Arabian Tahr, Hares and spiny-tailed lizards.

Customs and Traditions

In the United Arab Emirates, their customs, or traditional clothes is the thobe for the men, and the shaila and abaya for the women. In fact, people in every country in the Arabian gulf wear these clothes, and because Emirates is one of them they wear the same.

Government of U.A.E

The government of the United Arab Emirates is based on the Islamic law for criminal, civil and high courts. This system is used for all of the country except for Dubai and Ras Al-Khaima, which didn’t join in this system.

Economy of U.A.E

United Arab Emirate’s economy is an industrialized economy. That’s what makes the country one of the most improved in the world. It is based on GDP. The GDP of UAE economy was the fastest growing in 2005-2006 in the world as it rose from 130 billion dollars to 175 billion dollars.

Tourism in U.A.E

many tourists visit United Arab Emirates because of its improved technology and beautiful buildings. It also has one of the best hotels in the world, most of them five star hotels. They also have great malls and many places for tourist to visit like Wild Wadi for fun and other places that attracts people.

Politics of U.A.E

the presidents of Emirates are usually from Al-Maktoum or Al-Nahyan. Emirates has a federal system. All of the emirates joined this system except for Dubai and Ras Al-Khaima. This system is that all of emirates have an Islamic law for civil, criminal and high courts.
