Geography• With a land area of 93,033 square km, Hungary is a country in

Central Europe.• Neighboring countries:Austria to the west, Serbia,

Croatia,and Slovenia to the south and southwest, Romania to the southeast, Ukraine to the northeast, and Slovakia to the north.

The Danube is a river in Central Europe, the continent's second longest after the Volga. Classified as an international waterway, it originates in the town of Donaueschingen which is in the Black Forest of Germany and emptying into the Black Sea via the Danube Delta in Romania and Ukraine.
